I can’t imagine the mindset of going 3rd party to arrange emergency medical help.
To me, it’s highlights how ridiculous Washington is for elected officials. They do nothing for themselves.

Trump is to transparent. He needs to talk to the press who then can filter what the public hears, that would be so much better.

I’m about to be one of the 40% and if you want to take the constant tinnitus off my hands, I’ll gladly give you the $150 a month I’ll be getting.
I’d love pure silence for even 5 minutes instead of the constant screeching.

Holy shite talk about it could’ve been me moment. I was just in Yellowstone until Thursday. The only reason I left Thursday was I was life flighted out because I severed my ulnar artery.

PSA - knife safety UPDATE
Posted by Mid Iowa Tiger on 7/10/26 at 12:40 pm
Just a re-reminder for everyone. Pay attention to your blade when cutting anything I know I know we’ve all heard it, but at 56 years of age, I have managed to cut the shite out of my wrist, including severing the owner artery while camping in Yellowstone.
Stupid me careless moment and a trip may be ruined all because I wasn’t paying attention to my Blade when I was cutting something. 14 stitches a life flight and two hours of surgery due to carelessness.
shite I have done thousands of times safely one moment boom.
Update:
I ended up discharged within 26 hours - I wanted out. Hospital in Idaho Falls was solid but I don’t like hospitals.
For those busting my balls over the spelling I was using talk to text Ana apparently “ulnar” confuses it.
It went across the road not down it.
Vacation was cut short, headed home on Saturday after gathering gear Friday night.
Thankfully my two sons flew in to help me pack up the camping gear. It would’ve been a challenge otherwise.
Everyone at Yellowstone from the Rangers to law-enforcement to my fellow campers pitched in to make sure I made it to the ambulance to the helicopter into the hospital. Very appreciative of everyone involved.
I will update with billing information once I have it. I have no idea currently what the cost is going to be, but I’m sure it’s not cheap.
I ended up with a tourniquet on my arm for roughly 6 hours range of motion, and my hand is good no feeling in my thumb index and pointer feeling fingers, but feeling has returned to my ring finger and pinky on the affected hand and I hope the rest will return overtime.
All in all a very solid reminder to pay attention to what you’re doing in the moment you’re doing it when you’re working with sharp shite
The female flight nurse was hot for those asking.
If in extreme pain and offered fentanyl be careful, that shite works extremely well.

Congrats on knowing nothing of the history of the ME. Iran started this by attacking US soil and has continued this for 47+ years. Every president since Carter has said “something must be done” only one acted.

Interesting. I wonder what the full email reads like. I’m betting the parts quoted are just the tip of the iceberg.

I’ll have to take your word for it. I don’t care enough to do any research.

It’s freaking soccer, only care a little and I have to force myself there.
We have gone farther than expected from what understand. If the only acceptable outcome is winning it all people have too high of expectations for this team.

Rarely in an office. Last time I was I did do a coat and tie just for kicks.
re: Truck damage: Bullet hole or rock?

100% bullet. A rock would make it through nor expand like that. Check your lines and whatnot underneath. May be more damage.

No. Those decisions were way, way above my pay grade. Did I bitch about shite? Yes.

Was there ever a particular battle or overall war that you've looked at differently with the benefit of hindsight?
Sort of. The entire post 9/11 effort was complete bullshite with the benefit of hindsight. The way politicians muzzled the attack dogs meant it would all be for nothing. Early on, things were great we were moving fast and rolling up tons of bad guys. By the end, you had to confirm you were being shot at accurately enough to endanger yourself, it could just be gunfire in your direction. The ROE turned into complete dogshit.
re: Need Grandparent advice

So there is a natural tendency for the wife to spend more time with her parents. My advice, butt in until your son says it’s too much.
If I lived 5 miles from my grandson he’d see my damn near everyday and my daughter in law would have to get over it.
