When I was a kid my step-dad owned a bar that was pretty much the club house for the El Forestero MC. They aren’t a too 4 club but pretty much the next tier.
They did a lot of illegal stuff but to me they were good guys and practically family. If it weren’t for leaving to join the Air Force I probably would have ended up riding with them.

I’ve often wondered why if you’re going to turn them loose why not tie their hands behind their backs and legs together so at the very least they are either hampered in their movements down to the village or have to spend time and effort getting freed.
Seems like the free pass where the son is portrayed in the movie as doing parkour back to the village is the worst option.

I would love to know the real truth of what went down up there.
There are a lot of people in the spec ops community with a visceral hatred for Marcus Lutrell and consider him a coward. Dudes that have a lot of standing refer to him as the lone runner.
I’m sure the truth died on that mountain that day and we will never know what really went down.

Yes it is. I’ve thought about downsizing. Originally thought we would consistently have 5-7 in elk camp. Reality is more like 2-4. Once it’s up the space is great.
Mine has withstood some storms with high winds and a lot of snow. The only worry I have when a bad winter storm hits is getting off the mountain. I know the tent will stand up to it and if we have cut enough wood we will be warm.
I’m actually thinking of converting my stove to a gravity fed pellet stove so we can just haul wood pellets to camp instead of spending a day playing lumberjacks.

I wipe a lot of the hotel room down with Clorox wipes because of my concerns. The comforter usually goes to the floor.
