Kentucky @ LSU this weekend. We'll see what we're about.

If it ACTUALLY happens, I just don't see it working out long term. Maybe. I feel the same way when UK fans say we should brought Pitino back, which was never going to happen with Mitch.

Don't get me wrong LSU fans, tPEAR is definitely a better coach for y'all than McMahon. If you can bring him back, do it. I'm just saying I feel like "you can't go home again" applies here.

I suppose really it boils down to your fanbase's expectations. I can't speak to that.

Just checked the Kentucky database and sure enough, I have $15.33 coming my way I didn't know about.

Please refrain from littering the board with AI bullshite.

TIA
Per Google, it would take me 4 days and 17 hrs (312 mi) to walk from my house here in Lexington all the way out to the the riverfront walkway in Wickliffe, KY which is right where the Ohio River ties into the Mississippi River.

Of interest to tOT, not much further downriver is Columbus Belmont State Park, where the Confederacy, during its brief stint in charge in Kentucky, ran a chain across the Mississippi River to attempt to block off the Union from advancing further into the South.

IMO, if things had been more fortified at this very point, preventing the Union from penetrating further South under Grant. Once they were able to get around Kentucky and then into Tennessee and on to Nashville, down toward Vicksburg, the writing was on the wall in the Western theater.

I'm a plumber. My shop has a receptionist/secretary, whatever y'all want to call her. We're small, but it works great that way for coordinating calls, planning out extra man power, scheduling, etc.

When I'm on the job, I don't have the time to be fielding calls from homeowners about future jobs or whatever issues you're currently experiencing. I'm in the middle of a project, it's just not the time for that. I'm busy. Which is why I agree with the OP.

However, to your point, this is why I like to call the homeowner before coming out, to get a better scope of what the issue might be and to help me better prepare what tools/machinery/material I might need based on your information to help save time and expedite things. And yeah, sometimes it helps to just be mentally prepared walking in the door for a shite show.

More often than not, homeowners don't have a clue though and feed misinformation, unintentionally of course, but my point is you can only guess what the real issue is until you get on site and see what's really going on.

As for the complaints ITT about y'all reaching out to tradesmen who don't get back to you, I can't speak for them. Its very unprofessional IMO. Communication is big in this business and I know homeowners appreciate it. You just can't always drop what you're doing to answer texts or calls, but you always call back. At least I do. Whether I want the job or not, I call back.
Most Kentucky fans I would guess say Final Four, but I'd take the baseball natty. I actually watch UK baseball so it matters to me, but many of our fans don't. A championship is OF COURSE better than a Final Four.

However, if the championship were in any other sport (save football) I'd take the Final Four.

Exactly. Location Location Location
Those of us who are ACTUAL blue bloods dont even flinch at making the Sweet 16. That is a baseline expectation every season, which is one of several reasons we got rid of Cal's sorry arse, and why Mark Pope's arse is about to join him this time next year.

Credit is certainly due to Arkansas for making it 5 out of the last 6 yrs, no doubt, but it's not something you go around bragging about if you are actually a basketball school.

That picture is not of arkansas fans.
Silence, fatty.
Tell them to quit starting threads about Kentucky constantly and it'll go away. It ain't us starting all these dumb arse threads.
The only silver lining I can find in them is that it makes it extremely easy for me to see which women not to waste my time on.
Historically, violent revolutions have been the answer to your question, unfortunately.

We are getting a new AD this summer. Pope isn't getting fired until after next season. One more year of this horseshite to go.
Tennessee plays and beats Virginia, and all Vols can think about is Kentucky.

Par for the course.
