OT DADS
11 month old threw up twice today once being around 11:30pm. She is acting normal playing laughing etc. no fever or visible signs of being sick.

Same thing happened last week. Should I be concerned?

I'm thinking stomach virus or upset stomach.

re: OT DADS
Sounds like a virus to me.

One of mine had reflux and would puke but it was usually soon after eating.

re: OT DADS
If she only threw up once tonight and another a week ago, it is highly unlikely that she has a stomach virus, especially if she is not acting sick.

Nothing to be concerned about...

At 11 month old, she probably just ate to much, or doing something that put a lot of pressure on her stomach causing her to vomit.

re: OT DADS
She's more than likely fine.

If she's sick, you'll know it. She'll be cranky, make a lot of noise, pooping a lot. Definitely wouldn't feel like playing and laughing and stuff like that.

More than likely, she ate too much, like the other poster said. Their little bellies can only handle so much and if it's bothering them, it has to go somewhere.

What all did she eat in the last 4-6 hours? Lots of formula/rice mix or have you moved on to small solids?

re: OT DADS
Is she real snotty?

Mine has thrown up out if the blue with no other symptoms. Most of the time when she is like this it is all snot she throws up.

As she tells me " my belly high"

Probably fine. Kids don't know how to control themselves. My kid throws up yesterday just because she choked on her own loose strand of hair that ended up in her mouth. I take it this is your first? My wife used to want to go to the emergency room for eeeeeeeeeeeevery fricking thing on the first. Now it's basically rub some dirt on it.

Easy. Drinking waaay too much. Cut back on the spirits. Babies don't know when to stop.

They aren't very good at chess or driving either.

Need more info... Is her nose running? if so what color?

She is more than likely teething... If the vomit is accompanied by a little clear to light mucus and even a mild fever this could very easily be the case.

How many shite diapers is she making every day? You may want to watch her too because you are most likely introducing some new solid foods to her at that age and she may have found one that doesn't agree with her too well.

re: OT DADS
The biggest thing is how she's acting.
That and monitor her eating and diapers. If she's eating pretty regular and soiling her diaper (pee and poo), then she's probably fine.

My 2 yr old will puke randomly. Took too big of a bite? Throw it up. Ate an entire pizza? Throw it up. Floor just mopped? Throw up and laugh about it. Kids puke. If they are sick they will let you know

Chill mine throw up all the time. Eat to much or play to soon. A good coughing fit or hell just the sun coming up!! If there's no blood don't worry. Oh and if they have runny nose the snot in their stomach causes it too. I'm a Dad and also EMT/FIREMAN so I've seen it all.
