At some future point inflation will compound so much, that the USD will do a "stock split"
Posted by Saunson69 on 4/29/25 at 1:44 am
Just thinking today. Even if centuries from now, or decades, the values will get too large for just basic practicality. I see a stock split type deal where 2 things happen.
1. Any digital currency like in your bank account will divide by whatever amount set automatically. Maybe 1,000 by then.
2. Any tangible currency (if it is still around then), will either not be accepted as payment and have to be turned into a bank/gov for it's new rate. Or it could be accepted, but there will be a split rate applied to it at checkout if the Year printed on the bill is before the split date.
This will have to be worldwide so people don't stash cash in Brazil to try take advantage of new rate. Maybe at this point a common global tech currency is used (maybe bitcoin haha). Just a shower thought.

You must be dumb as getting sick 2x a year is not a shite immune system and is pretty average. It'd be zero if I discount every time it was from being around siblings kids.

So, could 7 unarmed men attacking at once kill an adult silverback gorilla? I don’t think so
Well they'd eventually hit the ground, and another 7, then another 7, jumping from behind. Too much confusion and chaos for gorilla to keep up with. Someone would choke it out with arms wrapped around neck, other gauge eyes out, other try to dismember its juggular.
If you can blind it, then you're golden.

100 men would definitely take on a gorilla. Gorilla's bench 900 to 2500 lbs. Say average man can do 180. I know it doesn't work exactly like this, but 100 x 180 is 18,000 lbs, which would be 10x as strong as the gorilla.
The difficulty would be not all 100 can attack a gorilla at once. Only 7 or so could feasibly be on him at a time. I think 7 or 8 Myles Garrets could take on a gorilla.

You'd want to blow your brains out after 1 month. This board is obsessed with wanting to live in 1800s and rural areas. They have no idea what this life would actually be like. The reality of living it for thousands and thousands of days.

Okay, why don't you try that out once you retire? I can tell you that you'll very much dislike it.

The trick is just replace one non-vowel letter of a normal name, and that's how the usually middle to lower middle class usually rural white families name.
Daxcyn - Jackson
Tayson - Jason
Briley- Riley
Braxton - Paxton
Mayden - Hayden
They think their kid is unique, but he's destined to a life of topping out at a GED and if doesn't get on drugs, then pipeline operator. Zero shot of med school, law school, top MBA, or engineering degree.

Can't tell you how many times I left my card at Bogie's on a Saturday, and it was closed Sunday, and I had no way to eat because I didn't carry cash and couldn't go to Capital One on Sunday's.

In college, I'd steal drinks off the bar at Bogie's when everyone at bar's head was turned talking to someone at the end of month because that's when I'd have single or double digit bank balance.

Went up to Derek Jeter and Jorge Posada eating dinner and talked to them as 11 year old
Pissed next to Girard Butler at Shreveport 2011 Cotillion
Saw Dennis Quaid at Jason's Deli in Shreveport in 2010. I knew he was familiar looking until they called his name Dennis for pickup. Knew then.
Rode in Taxi Cab with John Goodman's daughter and dropped her off at Goodman's house uptown during Mardi Gras 2013.
Jordan Davis country singer was best friends with my brother growing up. Played football at CMM and Byrd. They were QB/RB duo. Brother is on one of his album covers.
Talked to Sam Burns several times.
Michael Cera was filming in Shreveport in 2008, movie Year 1. He would go to Shane's Seafood/BBQ on Youree and order just their smoothies which was odd. Me and friend saw him and talked to him for a bit. Very small guy back then.
Rode in airplane with Kevin Gates and his posse from Dallas to Shreveport flight. It was delayed. His posse were straight thugs, tossing people's luggage around on conveyor belt after. Some guy with no arm in his clan was straight North Baton Rouge.
Saw Tyrann Mathieu and LF7 outside class and said hey.
None of these really matter though. Only one of these people who will know who I am is Jordan Davis and Sam Burns.

Neck rolls only work on guys 6'2" - 6'5", 235-260 lbs. Very narrow range is works on.

We've had a lot homer calls. One ball that was called a strikeout to end an inning, and then Tenn was safe there.
re: Odds we see someone like ewers try to sue for their last year of college ball back?

Quinn's signing bonus is $130k. Annual salary for next 4 years is $1 mil assuming he doesn't get cut before end of year 4. He was "supposedly" offered $8 mil to play another year. I highly doubt it was that much. But he maybe could've matched 1 more year in college what he'll make in the next 4 years in the NFL. Maybe a wake up call to NIL on what these players are really worth.
Why is women's golf filled with Asians at a significantly higher rate than mens?
Posted by Saunson69 on 4/26/25 at 6:32 pm
Just looked at Women's golf rankings. 10 of top 18 golfers are Asian. In Men's, there's 1 Asian in top 18. So, 1,000% more in women's game at top 18. This is something that is not a one off and is consistent for as long as I've ever seen glimpses of women's leaderboards.
My opinion, men's game is longer and requires more strength, players like DeChambeau excel, and Asian men are typically not strong genetically.

re: Why do y’all think Zy is still on the board? NM
Posted by Saunson69 on 4/26/25 at 6:11 pm
He should've been 4th round. He was the only DB on the entire roster that had an even remote chance of sniffing playing on Sunday. Next year will be different with some good transfers and Pickett.

Zy Alexander got screwed. He should've been a 4th rounder.

Why do these ESPN announcers always have the opposite opinions of what vast majority of people think?
-Supported kneeling at NFL games by players
-Love Mel Kiper
-Love Collin Kaepernick
-Love Stephen A Smith
Like literally choose anything that vast majority of people strongly dislike in sports, and ESPN will put it on a pedestal while sucking it off without going up for air. I swear the producers of ESPN let Kiper, Kaepernick, and Stephen A go in for Eiffel Towers and foursomes.

Now show all the horrible takes Kiper's made instead of showing the ones he did right one.
What a toolbag being in his 20s back in 1980s thinking he was the say all be all on NFL talent evaluation. I would've fired his arse long ago.
