What? We ship beef and chicken to India?

We provide them the cash to make it.

EDIT: And no, definitely not beef

Then you’re talking about a completely different topic. The point is, if the third world starves because of this, it won’t be for the same reasons there is a shortage in this country.

Oh yes it will because we’ve been footing the bill for them not to starve to death. We’re spoiled in a post Cold War world. Our world population is unsustainable under these circumstances.

Monday, I got an instacart Costco order in Atlanta (they went to Brookhaven) and got a pack of huge NY strips, flank steak and 6.5 lbs of ground beef. Luckily my wife doesn't eat much steak.

Has toilet paper sales normalized yet or are people still working on their toilet paper castles?

Haven’t had that or paper towels the last 3 trips I’ve made to Costco. Got a family of 5 and haven’t bought either since a month or so before this mess started. That being said, prob have 3 weeks supply left.

Pretty much every prediction you have ever made on this site has been wrong, so I look forward to bumping this thread in September.

Yup Meat plants were/are a hot bed for Covid 19. So far 20 workers at meat plants have died and over 5,000 are either hospitalized or are showing Covid 19 symptoms.

I said this from day one; the stupidity concerns me more than the virus. China got everything they wanted and more. One useful idiot at a time. Whenever I shop, I just laugh.

Every store could run out of meat and I wouldn’t miss a beat.

Costco has been a massive disappointment for me. For a store that charges me just to walk in the store - they’ve had no toilet paper, Clorox wipes, or latex gloves for a month - in spite of “limiting” the amount people can buy. They’ve also made people line up outside the store to limit the people inside to a ridiculously low number even though they are several times larger than the local grocery store. It takes an hour to get inside to realize they are out of what you need.

Added to the annoyance that I have to prove I’m not stealing from them as I walk out the door - I’ll seriously rethink renewing when my membership expires.
