Just remember to have this same spirit if our coach happens to lose a few games in year 1 too.

I read an article by some national sports writer who gave both sides of the issue. He placed most of the blame on the NCAA for their ill-timed 5 for 5 change in policy. He mentioned that the 2022 class basically got screwed because the COVID years of 2020 and 2021 gave those classes an extra year and the 2027 class starts the 5 for 5 guaranteed extra year. But the 2022 class are "tweeners" and got screwed. He did assess some of the blame on Kiffin and any other coach who would accept "comeback players" even this time. To that I say, that if a class got screwed by the above timeline I described, they should not pay the price for the NCAA waiting 3 months too long before coming out with the 5 for 5 plan. If they had done this in early spring, this wouldn't even be an issue.
