I don't eat meat but I'm not hoping for a meat shortage. That might cause a run on the things I do eat. I don't think a meat shortage will happen in a vacuum.

I saw a posting on the web last week about Nebraska, the post said in part:
"The largest hotspot in Nebraska traced to a pork processor. Something like 300 workers positive vs the county total of 900 positive. All traced back to a quincenara party involving 200 people after the guidelines were announced."
That piqued my curiosity and on researching Nebraska Covid cases and packing plant locations -- WALLAH! Every fricking county with more than a very few cases (including those out in the sticks) has got a packing plant or two or is adjacent to such a plant. The one referenced in the above quote has to be Hall County, the Grand Island area where there are multiple processors.
