re: Binary - yes and no. Is it a concept that is full of shit? - Ross
Binary with our current electronics makes perfect sense with our ideas of “ a charged component being above a certain voltage” = 1 else 0 Q bits will change the world though ...

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
Not sure what you are getting at here. If your friends had one or were party to one they probably just wouldn't admit it to anyone who views it as such a hot button topic.
I’m just saying if someone views an action as wrong, and they have any kind of conviction in their beliefs, ...

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
You have crawfished on your original assertion that none of your friends would have had one. But even using your number of 14.9%, I am pretty sure that at least one, if not more, of your friends have had one / been a party to one. I am also fairly sure that they would never tell you about it....

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
1 in 4 women have an abortion at some point in their lives. That leads you to believe that the same number of men have been involved in one wittingly or not. Unless all of your friends are gay.
Let’s not be disingenuous here. I just did a cursory glancing at some 2017 statistics...

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
I can probably just attempt to nip this talking point in the bud by saying “I disagree with the assertion that a substantial portion of my friend group have been a part of an abortion based on the socioeconomic and demographic makeup of that friend group and personal knowledge of decent portions of ...

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
One thing you have made certain: No one in your friend group considering abortion would ever come to you for advice or mention it to you.
The vast majority of my friend group have their shite together in a major way, which is why it’d be pretty surprising to me if any of them were e...

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
That would be a miserable life if you did that with every person who was part of an abortion.
I really doubt my friend group would look substantially different. This is the second time that talking point was brought up, I’m assuming there are some convincing statistics about this....

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
seriously the bastardization of what “science” constitutes is turning into one of my biggest pet peeves. It’s like everyone always wants to say that science supports them without any application of the scientific method to their claims. It’s pretty baffling....

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
your declaration on how we establish personhood seems pretty lacking in the scientific method for you to be so bold as to attach the word “science” to it....

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
that seems pretty unlikely unless you skewed the statistics towards me having friends with everyone from every demographic but I’d be interested to see the statistics, because I frankly don’t know what they’ll say ...

re: Is abortion unforgivable? - Ross
I still take issue with the phrase “brainwashed”, but despite the condescending nature of that post, the message is logically sound. If one views abortion as evil, it is their perogative (as you say, their “problem”, but as I say, “their moral scheme”), and their right to choose who their friends...
