They’re not the ones that are going to be affected about this. A guy in India trying to support his family of 5 living previously living on 3 bucks a day is going to starve to death on this.
Maybe choose a country that eats meat

Costco has been a massive disappointment for me. For a store that charges me just to walk in the store - they’ve had no toilet paper, Clorox wipes, or latex gloves for a month - in spite of “limiting” the amount people can buy. They’ve also made people line up outside the store to limit the people inside to a ridiculously low number even though they are several times larger than the local grocery store. It takes an hour to get inside to realize they are out of what you need.
Added to the annoyance that I have to prove I’m not stealing from them as I walk out the door - I’ll seriously rethink renewing when my membership expires.
They’ve announced that they will force you to wear a mask if you want to enter the store as well

Costco has been getting shorted on their meat orders since early March. The panic buying emptied their supply chain before the meat processing plants started shutting down.

Chicken. We export a lot of dark meat chicken because of Americans desire for white meat.
That Nola cold storage disaster after Katrina, that was tons and tons of just dark meat chicken ready for export.

Such a shame. White meat is trash.

I think it has its place. Depends what your doing. I wouldn't want dark meat tenders, pamesean, or stuffed. But most lithe dishes I prefer it because of better flavor.

I got off of work yesterday and went to Sam's. I was thinking it was going to be a nice weekend and I'd smoke some ribs or a brisket. Well frick me, because that place was picked clean. Here's a picture I snapped. Damn hoarders taking all the good stuff.

I make crispy unbattered skin-on thighs in the air fryer and could survive a very long time on those. Tony's and/or jerk seasoning, salt, pepper, 20 minutes. Done. Juicy fatty protein goodness.

I was a vegetarian for few years. Honestly it was the healthiest I've ever been in my life. People will survive a few months of reduced meat intake.
Legumes (beans) are a great source of protein, but are missing a few key amino acids (mainly tryptophan). That's why you have to balance them with corn or rice.
Yall realize we had straight up food rationing during WWII, right?

They’ve been buying out the biscuits and butter in Breaux Bridge every day

This is a lie. There’s a sign outside you can read before you get in line telling you if wipes, etc are in stock or not

So in addition to 30 mill Americans living on public benefits, and oil and gas consumption down significantly, we now may all might end up being vegans?

Your example is probably due to yesterday being payday and everyone wanting to grill outside this weekend because of great weather.
