I mean you known there will be some good ole boy candidates that should never get interviewed for the job but will because Landry is gonna pull strings and make it happen. Hell he might even pressure us to hiring one of them. It’s the sad state of affairs we live in with Louisiana.

Oregon State in 2004 refused to let us wore white. The road team gets the choice and almost every time they just let LSU wear the white. Oregon Staye I think wanted to wear white because it’s hot in mid September in Baton Rouge. Thats the game with the monsoon before kickoff. I was in the student section and was wet AF but it was a great experience.

I went to the game. It was a great road trip. Me, a college buddy, his girlfriend drive up from NYC. The stadium was just a cool place to experience even if it was an early kick. Given the early kick there was basically no tailgating and the town was kinda dead. It was my 1st experience getting to drink legally in a college football stadium. Drink Labat Blues ??

Baton Rouge traffic literally stresses me out and I’m from Houston. Traffic here is so terrible

Worked at the Urec as a scorekeeper for intermurals in the mid 2000’s. I remember scorekeeping a basketball game the night we beat Duke in the Sweet 16 in 2006. Place went crazy.
