re: What’s the used boat market like right now? - OldSouth
Gotcha. The unbelievable weather we’ve had for 2 months probably helped too. I was just wondering if there were any deals to be had. Markets are funny like that, sometimes when you think there would be less demand there is more and vice versa....

What’s the used boat market like right now? - OldSouth
Has the lockdown had any effect? Stimulus checks used to upgrade? Are people using their old boat more now that they have more time? Are more for sale because of lost O and G jobs?...
You may be right. I used to skip school at LSU to go eat at Pig's joint near Cranky Corners. Did you know Johnny Morgan? He and my cousin were running buddies back in the day. I'm kin to the Core family in that area. You may know some of them.
Didn't know Johnny, met him once. ...
What about north of Goodbee near Jim Willie Road? Bedico Creek (or what's left of it) runs right through my property.
I'm out of town, but I think that area is fine. One of the houses on the polo field that flooded in 2016 was flooded again....

re: Here are the details of the lead tort reform bill for the upcoming session. - OldSouth
Just my opinion, but I think tort reform is the single biggest need in this country right now. That sounds like a bold statement but if you think about it, the threat of lawsuits is what is keeping the country shut down. It makes medical expenses unbearable, insurance costs go up, etc. It affects ...
