Jefferson Parish if you present proof of insurance from your company, then the DA has discretion to dismiss and let the civil aspect play out. Sometimes they will just reduce to a non-moving.

The best argument in this situation would be to bring a letter from insurance company on the court date evidencing proof that you were insured on the date of the accident, and explaining if the matter had been adjusted or is in the process of being adjusted.

It's really disheartening to have to practice law in front of judges who are clearly incompetent and it's even worse for clients. Makes me not want to practice.

Check the used car inventory at higher end dealerships in your area. Wife got a 2022 Genesis GV70 at a local Lexus dealership and the price was on par with the Car Maxes etc., and they were super easy to deal with.

Just throwing this out there, but not too far away is Las Olas Beach in Fort Lauderdale. The Riverside Hotel (620 E. Las Olas Blvd) has a great restaurant right on the water. Best for lunch (ish) but it's really a cool spot. And Las Olas Boulevard is a fun walk.

How is this possible? My daughter just graduated four years ago. I paid about $1,500 per semester for tuition and costs after TOPS. $1000 or so for rent and then some cash for food and fun etc.
