Not playing him on a 2 point try to tie the game is malfeasance.
Does it really matter who the establishment trots out in 2028 to take on Vance?

Prediction: the bankers will end up making money.
Which one had the purple haired boss bitch lady and the real villain in the movie was the patriarchy, with its outdated ideas like heroism and chivalry?

Everything seems to be seen through this highly transactional lens

Greed ruins things. In college football’s case, I have thought from the beginning that all of this would end up killing the goose that laid the golden egg, but I guess they’re still making plenty of money for now.

I just can’t see how people will stay interested.

Seems like lots of us are in this boat.

Periodically I contemplate how much money we have paid and will pay for Catholic school and it seems insane. But then it still seems right.

God provides.
Evolution taught them to seek the male gaze.

Modernism has taught them shamelessness.

The previous systems also made it possible for an undefeated team to not be the champion which made the entire season meaningless

I think this is wrong. What the previous system did, by things like your example of undefeated teams not being the champion, is made the championship matter less, which let everything else matter more.
Whichever side of this issue you fall on, there is no denying that the sport we all grew up loving is now dead and replaced with something else.

You can love or hate the new thing, but either way, it’s not the old thing.

Notre Dame had no shot against Dunham.

Should also have had no shot against Calvary. Came within a yard and a half of beating them.

Absolutely, I've never understood why fellow college football fans were so determined to keep meaningful postseason participation so small when pretty much every other sport on every other level is larger.

The bowls were meaningful. The players and coaches used to like playing football games, and the fans used to like watching them, and that’s all it took for a game to matter.

And some bowls carried their own additional meaning, which we have now thrown in the trash with the rest of things we sacrifice to mammon.

I believe so, yes. QB is too, as well as a couple Duplechain brothers.

Joachim Bourgeois is 165 lbs. but runs like a bull for Notre Dame.

He has scored on the first offensive play of the game for ND six times this year.

The problem for Notre Dame is that most of their games against good opponents have been battles of attrition after that first play.

I haven’t watched Lewis Cook for very long, but this team is his best coaching performance that I’ve seen. Multiple games this year where his coaching was clearly (in my mind) the difference.

That doesn’t even get into how the team prepares from a physical standpoint or their buy-in/commitment compared to the teams they face. Just talking about how he manages the game and clock to get a win while facing obvious talent disparity.

It is truly wild to me how many white women will act like that in public. It’s actually sad that white women never really understood the consequences of running their mouth.

In your experience, non-white women are more circumspect in their speech? Is that what you are claiming?

i've had some truly shitty experiences at fast food places... but never, in my entire 43 years on earth, have i ever felt so entitled to denigrate and insult the staff, no matter how bad the service was, if the order was wrong, etc... b/c at the end of the day, in the grand scheme of life, a messed up order at a fast food joint is so fricking insignificant, that it should never arise to the level of where you are acting out and berating and insulting other human beings over shitty food

Gus McCrae pistol whipped a surly bartender just for not treating him with special respect.
I guess you’re saying you are better than Gus. I doubt that.
