Saying the N word is for common folk. What needs to be understood is that “racism”, as defined by the powers that be, does not need to come with ill-will towards anyone. In fact, quite the opposite, but most people are not ready for that understanding.

I do not find life thrilling at 46, but I don’t think I found it thrilling at 23 either.
That’s on me. What I do miss is feeling FREE. I don’t mean from shackles anyone out on me, I mean from the shackles I put on myself.
I remain hopeful that my 50s and beyond will be a time of relative freedom and mental peace, though at this point I don’t expect the world to be peaceful at that time.
I think people who jump/gang up on others should be beaten senseless by the cops and maybe have both their arms broken in a way that cripples them.

I don’t think they should play Stanton in these playoffs, but you’re crazy if you think Judge doesn’t add value.
Does he add value specifically in the playoffs? That’s a different question, but I think it’s still a no brainer to start him when healthy.

I’d have to steal the boat before everyone else got on.
The evidence is mounting that women are simply too forgiving and empathetic to serve in the role of judge. Society cannot function well if every murder, theft, rape, etc is subjected to tests of whether the perpetrator had a good enough excuse for becoming the type of person who would do that.
The world is always going to produce people who are capable of really bad things, and I guess in most cases they will have had a troubled past. All we can do is make it very very painful and indeed deadly for them to give in to their desire to hurt other people.

The left is accelerating things. Every time they get power they try to rig it to make it harder to unseat them.
I bought a $25 one at Sam’s this weekend and it’s fine. Couldn’t bring myself to spend $80 on a rocking chair.

That’s my point. I think local public schools, mainly Rayne and Church Point, probably see ND as recruiting because some of their best athletes go there, but that’s just NDs area.

Never left.
My family goes back hundreds of years basically in two parishes.
Does that mean I’m a little inbred? Yes.
Does that mean I can’t leave? No.
But I do find some value in having ties to the place where I live.

Well, LCA actually does recruit, as opposed to ND who is accused of it but doesn’t really do it.

One thing I will say on the “people need to be more frugal” side of the argument is that people’s expectations for how nice their car should be are out of control.
We are shopping for a car now, and there’s at least a $10k difference between the trim we want (which is still nice, leather seats, etc) and the trim I see most commonly.
This tells me that most people are agreeing to pay an extra $200 a month for six years basically so their car will have the right “Limited” badge on it. So how tight can their finances really be?
