On my third day in Vienna, I casually navigated the busy shopping neighborhood Goldenes Quartier. I stumbled on the perfect café for a craveworthy cappuccino, found the authentic Austrian sweater boutique I'd been searching for, and located a candy shop for some sweet Viennese souvenirs. This feat was all the more satisfying because I managed it all on my own.

This is something a little six year old girl would say. Jeez.

Not wearing her wedding ring while on her vacation……

I also fully indulged my love of wine while in Vienna, even discovering some varietals I'd never have the chance to try in America. For example, I sampled sturm — a very young wine available during the fall harvest season that's fizzy, fruity, and dangerously easy to drink.
Oh yea….She definitely fricked some Vienna sausages.

I feel sorry for her friends who have to hear all about her European expertise.

The point of the honeymoon is to spend time with your new partner, not see the world. That is what later trips are for.

Traditionally, newlyweds take a trip together following their "I do's" — but the truth is, I've never been very traditional. Case in point: On my wedding day, I walked down the aisle by myself as a feminist declaration of my self-sufficiency.

It was already a failed marriage before the marriage even began.

That isn't self-sufficiency, that is being a stupid little bitch especially if her father paid for this.

We have the rest of our lives to travel together

She says that now ,but dam if he puts a ring on it and you can't go with your husband on a honeymoon that is sad. If she is already flaking on him than this will be a short marriage. Also life is short it could end at any time.

I reinforced my independence

Marriage

That is a contradiction. If you are married than you are not independent. Marriage is between a man and a woman coming together as one. Sure you can have hobbies apart from each other ,but that is not independence.

My international travels came with some hurdles — including a stressful layover in Paris where I had to literally sprint through the airport, hustle through security and customs, and even hop on a train to get to my gate. But overcoming these obstacles gave me a renewed sense of self-assurance.

That is not stressful.

quote:

I had an opportunity to miss my husband

As the saying goes, absence makes the heart grow fonder. As grateful as I am for my experience in Vienna, I did find myself missing my husband.

Translation: She got fricked 6 ways from Sunday on her trip.

Modern Feminism is ruining women. It is leading to alot of men going outside the US to find more traditional women. As for this marriage it will be short.

Inevitably this will end with a tearful breakup where she tells him she misses her independence of getting dicked down by Hans in the bathroom of a Viennese coffee house.

When this harpy inevitably gets divorced, she will turn this story around and blame him. "My trip to Austria was ruined because you refused to come with me!" And she'll have a chorus of fellow harpies in her ear telling her she was a victim.

OMG. You had to endure what virtually everyone with a connecting flight has to. Such indomitable courage and fortitude.

So after months and months of disagreements with my husband over where to honeymoon and when, I decided to take one by myself.

How hard is it to pick a place you both want to go? Good luck on the harder decisions that will come your way.
