re: Are the wasps terrible in all of BTR this summer?

Tennis racket in one hand, can of wasp spray in the other. It’s like shooting fish in a barrel.

I use to enjoy the deep rooted Auburn-Bama hate on here. Then, after Bama went on that run 2010’s, Auburn fans just quit flaming.
Sad really

Glad they have already printed the cups.
Derek Curriel goes early. Wish we could get him back for another year.

Back to biblical names being popular. I like it.

Fake engine sounds, at low speeds, are so pedestrians don’t walk in front of a quiet car.

I thought they didn’t want to be part of Baton Rouge
I don’t like St George, but it was Baton Rouge that caused this.
St George organized and made a formal request to the goofballs that were in charge of Baton Rouge. They met with themselves and decided that St George needed to continue to pay into Baton Rouge but not get any votes or services.
Just letting St George citizens have simple a vote for BR mayor could stopped the entire cascade of events.

peanut butter goes back thousands of years to ancient South and Central American civilizations, who ground roasted peanuts into a thick paste. Marcellus Gilmore Edson: The first to patent a modern process for making peanut paste (calling it a "peanut candy") was a Canadian chemist who received a US patent in 1884. Dr. John Harvey Kellogg: The famous cereal pioneer patented a process for making peanut butter in 1895, serving it to his patients at the Battle Creek Sanitarium as a nutritious protein substitute. Dr. Ambrose Straub & Joseph Rosefield: Straub patented a peanut butter-making machine in 1903
Then, in 1921 George Carver “invented” it.

That’s not an “install” that’s a replacement.
Yes. It’s one of the easier projects for a homeowner.

re: Can someone who understands ball better than me explain Perkins shift from Freshman yr on?
Posted by AtlantaLSUfan on 7/3/26 at 11:14 am to OJsLifeCoach
I’ll explain it.
He’s under-sized. Essentially he was like sending a WR to rush the passer. As long as he’s not blocked he’s a menace.
LSU decided to put him at Mike to have him cover more field with his speed. Instead he just stood there diagnosing while the offense avoided his area. Star position wasn’t much better.
He’s a talent without a natural position. Baseball equivalent of a Utility or DH.

Use the actual petals and never get pulled over. But ebikers never petal. They are mopeds.

Absurd take. Since 2000 LSU has been to 9 national championship games. 7-2 for titles.
In the 80-90’s LSU made it to Omaha 10 times winning only 4.

Was at that game. UGA knew every single play we were running. The safeties would break to the correct side as soon as the ball snapped and crash forward when it was a run play.

I wouldn’t use this term for abandoned site. These islands can go years with no human step foot on land. What’s the point? It’s a free country on God’s earth.

He was directly responsible for men surviving the winter at Valley Forge because he intercepted a ship bearing 1000s of British winter gear and took it home to support the troops in the field. At the height of his powers, he died alone in Paris? PARIS? He should have been head of the Navy through his own accomplishments, but...politics.

“Parent dugouts” suck. Terrible angle. You cannot see anyone else’s game without entering their parent dugout. 10 foot fence engulfs the entire field. Outfield is perfect homerun distance for 12 year olds.
Summer weather in Cooperstown is awesome. The pizza place outside the ballpark is not good. Evening Cookouts at someone’s rental house makes for great memories.
The whole baseball experience is awesome. They are experts at running this tournament.

Public schools will give everyone a C to move them through. Private schools give everyone A's so the parents stay happy and keep paying that $50k a year in tuition.
Opposite here in Baton Rouge. Public kids that can’t read out loud have 3.7 GPA or 4.4 out of 5.0. Same kids would fail out of private.
The private schools are 10 times harder and the teachers try to prove their worth by having an even distribution of grades. It’s like they get pissed at all the smart kids making A’s on tests so they look for ways to get their grade down.
This is why certain populations don’t like standardized tests, it documents what you actually know. The private school kid with a 3.0 is scoring 28 on ACT and public school kid with 4.4 GPA is scoring 17.

Vigilante justice is the best deterrent. People that think the government will protect them make the easiest targets.
