One of the insiders on 24/7 our next “starting” C will be from the portal.

Well yea, we don’t really have a choice with Sumto and Mcvey gone

Our starting C will definitely be from the portal…
“Oh no, where yall parents at” $1M question being asked for the last 35 years
No. I laugh at people who use language like that because they aren’t intelligent enough to come up with something better to say.
Missed the game with kids baseball but what a great outcome today. Didn’t help our biggest challenges, but helps secure a Super when the time comes

I thought Wes was a pitching guru, why are we struggling to find depth at pitching?

With transfer heavy rosters all-around, it’s tough to find a guaranteed SEC caliber starter without paying him. Aoki, Scott and especially Ishikawa were all thought to be capable starters, however, their successes vs mid majors have not translated well. Wes is a pitching “guru,” but there is only so much you can do…and almost nothing you can do midseason if the 3 guys you thought could develop didn’t.

It’s a numbers game with pitching. We had 3 looking for 1 or 2 starters and we got none as of now. I don’t necessarily blame Wes for bringing those guys in and also don’t blame him for not being a miracle worker.

That’s just my perspective though, and while frustrating this season, still think we are in a much better overall position as a program than I thought we would be at this point.

Go Dawgs
But but but, Lawfare isn’t real. Hoax aren’t real…what else isn’t real that’s not real….

Chick Fil A is run by thugs. They should get those kids out of the drive through. If I’m in a drive through it means I don’t want to talk to anyone.

Tell me you’ve never been to a Chick-fil-A without saying you’ve never been to a CFA….

UGA is having a bad couple of weeks. Did they peak too soon?

We’ve won every SEC series so far, just won 28-3 in 7 innings Tuesday, and now the first ranked team to beat Florida all season…while going for a 5th straight series win tomorrow in the rubber match…

Won 8 in a row prior to yesterday including 2 SEC series sweeps, one of which was a highly talented Miss State team

Crazy to think what a good couple weeks of baseball looks like in your eyes
Going for the series win tomorrow and would make it 5 for 5 on the season in SEC series. Would be absolutely amazing considering the league this year
Florida going deeper in the pen here in the 8th with no outs

Leadoff double followed by a lean into HBP

1 and 2nd against their bullpen with oriach at the plate

Drills it into right field and we beat the throw.

2-1 Dawgs, 0 outs with runners at the corners

Runner takes off from 1st and takes second as the pitcher was staring for the sign

Backup shortstop for Florida gonna stay in the game for now after slipping in the outfield trying to get back to 2nd base
Vogue done for the day. Nice outing

Aoki coming on in relief

1,2,3 with two backward Ks

7-8-9 due up for the Dawgs bot 7
1st and 2nd no outs bot 6

Double play. Runner on 3rd with 2 outs.

Hudson pops out to left.

Another chance to take the lead gone

1-1 headed to the 7th in a pitchers dual

Why can't they just ride one of the boats back to the ship? Kinda ridiculous to have to be rescued by a helicopter when the Navy guys are going to ride their boats back to the ship.

Deemed by rescuing team to be quicker and much safer to go by helicopter. They actually had a choice, but decided to go with helicopter recovery

2026: 40+ Navy divers and 6 boats took almost 2 hrs

1969: 4 dudes in a pool party float raft for 15 mins

Also two hours is the requirement they said to get the astronauts out. Thoughts on Why two hours? They didn’t specify.

I believe that is the requirement for the astronauts to be able to get back to the boat for observation and such from deep space flight. Their gear can last 6 days without oxygen

I think most of that wait was the comm issues. That seems to have delayed everything.

The comm issue was 25 minutes and that was for shutdown/power down procedure of the capsule. It’s also sad we communicated with them from 260,000 miles but can’t communicate with them from 260 feet

1.5hrs for 40 US Navy divers to get a fricking raft attached to this has been the most painful thing of this entire mission
