The funny part about this is if they had just stuck with license plate readers, they could conceivably have stretched the law to make it legal, even if people are outraged.

When phones/signals start getting tracked, drones start flying tracking literally everyone, and you create a database on every living person available for anyone that has access to the system (authorized- or not)... This is no longer about reading someone's license plate.

Even more troubling is if this system is deemed legal via constitutional challenge, how that plays out moving forward.

Hopefully this link will work and provide an interactive map of current Flock Cam locations nationwide.

Interactive Flock Camera Map of United States

Of course, I'm only providing this for informational purposes...

These Flock cameras are hated by both sides, so I don’t know why there isn’t much more pushback.

read it in junior high. Along with Animal Farm, Oliver Twist, Canterbury Tales, Hamlet, Sula, The Good Earth, The Unvanquished... you get the point.

I found A Government of Wolves by John Whitehead to be much more contemporary and alarming to the modern reader.

ICE should announce that they plan on using Flock for mass deportations, and then progressives would destroy every camera and drone in the fleet

There is a reason why there are multiple flock systems at every Home Depot and Lowes.

This tech bro hellscape we are living in sucks. I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

I'm gonna be straight up if Flock cameras & 24/7 monitoring is coming from our U.S. government, China doesn't seem like the asshoe anymore.

At least they don't let idiots vote & get free handouts. This is going way too far into people's freedom to be themselves & be weirdos if they want

You are correct, and anybody who has never watched the series should. Not just because it is what we are now living, but because of high entertainment value from a well-made series.

Going forward, every crime should be solved or its corruption. This will never be used abusively. 1994 was an incredible year to be alive.

My neighborhood loves the Flock LPR cameras. They have caught many porch pirates, home invasion, found a missing person, and found many stolen vehicles. We are putting 2 more up next year.

Crime has decreased in our neighborhood because of the cameras.

A lot of theft at those places. Probably catching multiple angles of all entrances and exits.

This is the area around Lakeside Mall in Metry. The bottom left is Lowes.
