In case you weren't impressed with Flock before, don't worry, there's much more on the way.

1)Flock Free Form
Gives the ability to search through the vast network of cameras and video to search for anyone and anything that is typed in. This can be things like political bumper stickers, NRA affiliations, religious symbols, skin color, clothing... Also the ability to live update when someone matches your query, real time, no car required.

Flock Freeform

2)Flock Alpha

Thought Flock cameras were dystopian? Wait until you learn about their other spy tool
quote:

As highlighted in a viral X post by Josh Walkos, Flock is rolling out "Flock Alpha"—a highly advanced, autonomous police drone designed to track vehicles and suspects from the sky.
quote:

Equipped with thermal imaging, high-definition cameras and optical zoom, the drone can stream live video to dispatchers and read a vehicle's license plate from as far as 2,000 feet away.

3)Signal Trace

The hidden surveillance network: What Flock cameras and SignalTrace mean for everyday Americans
quote:

The next generation of these systems could also detect signals emitted by nearby electronic devices—including smartphones, smartwatches, wireless earbuds, and other Bluetooth-enabled technology—creating a far more detailed picture of who was present at a particular location and when.

In other words, traditional license plate readers may be only the first chapter in a much broader evolution of AI-powered public surveillance.

ICE should announce that they plan on using Flock for mass deportations, and then progressives would destroy every camera and drone in the fleet

Sounds like rayciss profiling.

Ben Crump needs to make himself useful for once and demand a ban on Flock cameras.

This is what happens when greed infiltrates to the very core of a society and becomes the principle on which that society is built. No more do people stop to think "Is this worth it in the long-run?" or "How will this impact humanity as a whole" or even "What the frick are we doing here?" instead its "What's the latest advancement I can make a buck on?" "How can I profit more off of this?" "How can I beat my competitor to the next advancement?"

What's left is an environment where the general population is simply viewed as a commodity by those who have the means to rise above general population. We are being turned into cattle by the elite. Want an idea of where we are quickly headed as a society, go check out large, commercial, mass-production dairy/cattle farms. I'll give you a hint, you're not going to see many cows who look like they are enjoying their lives. Instead you'll see a bunch of malnurished cows being milked to their last drop just waiting for the next bucket of grain to come down the chute to feed them. That's quickly becoming us and its being done in a way where we really won't have much of an option

ETA yes this is a melt because between government overreach and AI companies attempting to infiltrate every part of your life and ruining everything it touches, this shite sucks and is infuriating

I remember that tv show

quote:

Person of Interest is a CBS sci-fi crime drama that aired from 2011 to 2016, created by Jonathan Nolan, about a reclusive billionaire, Harold Finch (Michael Emerson), who builds an AI called "the Machine" to predict violent crimes, and recruits a presumed-dead ex-CIA agent, John Reese (Jim Caviezel), to stop them. Using the Machine's data, they work to save "persons of interest" (both potential victims and perpetrators) in New York City, often clashing with law enforcement and other shadowy organizations as the series evolves into a larger conspiracy thriller about AI and surveillance.

I wonder if there's a way to sandbag the cameras by having meaningless noise clog up the system?

could just go old school civil disobedience style. Put axle grease on the lens. cut the poles down in the middle of the night. hell, shoot out the camera with a bb gun from across the way. hit it with a tazer and short circuit the damn thing. those things arent cheap. if people keep doing this shite will change. This surveillance state crap really is the worst.

I was just watching a special on Netflix where they mentioned that part of the reason the nation was founded was to create a govt ruled by the people.

I am curious which segment of society wanted this again?

Don't worry. These "tools" will only be used by law enforcement as a means of fighting crime.

Wait till the next plandemic when they ban BBQs and you have these things searching for a family who dares to cook outside? Just imagine the Covidians with this type of technology to persecute the "unvaccinated".

I just found out about these cameras a few day ago when some "DeFlock" Facebook group showedd up on my feed. Clicked on it simply because I've seen those around town and wondered what they were.

Yea, turns out people really hate them

Time to read a book. It may have been on a reading list when you were in school. The book is 1984 by George Orwell and you can get a kindle version on Amazon for 99 cents. This book introduced the phrase Big Brother is watching you.

ICE is already using Flock which is what galvanized the liberals to be against it. Which sucks, because I too am against it, so now I’m in the same boat with the libs. These Flock cameras are hated by both sides, so I don’t know why there isn’t much more pushback.
