Subscription Fatigue

Posted by tharre4 on 3/13/25 at 11:32 am
It's all so tiresome. Why does it seem every app, service, software includes subscription base pay plans. Yes, I understand that it is more profitable to the service's shareholders. Nonetheless, subscriptions have turned once free or pay once things into things requiring years long payments. The smart TV remote app that was $2 yesterday is now $2.99/month or $22.99/ year. end rant.

What other things can you think of that make no sense being subscription based? (please leave wife/mothers/daughters out of this discussion)

I don’t know whether or not they’ve set a date yet. I also don’t know if senate rule stipulate that a vote must be held within a certain time frame once out of committee.

Why do I feel as though the majority of GOP senators heard this and though "You know what? Chuck is right. Let's give bipartisanship a chance. Surely, it'll work this time!"

Kamala should have put this chick in her “I’m a man” commercial.
What are our immediate expectations for legal challenges once Chevron is overturned?

if it's anything like converting my Blackstone to natty its relativly simple. Blackstone offers it own conversion kit so maybe Weber does too.

The only thing my kit didn't include that it needed was high heat plumbers paste.

Image did a great job killing my nutsedge late summer last year... and everything else in my yard.
We are collectively irredeemable for allowing this to go on for so long.
