Time to rest before a tournament that counts.

This doesn't seem to transfer to the MLB Playoffs at all

And this tournament already has a lot going against it. 3 hosts, unlimited teams, US only plays in north Mexico. 94 was about sharing the worlds game, 26 is all about monetizing it, artificially inflating its value, and turning larger profit margins. No thanks. FIFA is not good for the sport.

The whole experience has been a positively revolting display of greed & arrogance imo. It's good to see that people are rebelling

Get this, it doesn't matter if a foul is blown or not. He looks ridiculous and nothing you say will stop people from clowning him

College degrees are like participation trophies.

High school degrees too. I'm sick & tired of everyone getting participation trophies funded by our tax dollars.

At this point, I'm hardened, bitter, & cynical. I view it as an issue similar to homelessness - there are plenty of resources to help those who want it. The ones stuck are choosing to stay that way.

I much prefer a pick mattock to a pickaxe for digging.

Huh, didn't realize the difference until now. Looks like what I bought was actually a mattock after all

GEAUX TIGERS!!!

I really do hope he gets interviews so we can hear that glorious LA accent again

This is Smith’s second known driving offense. He was previously arrested in January 2022 for speeding in a construction zone and driving on a suspended license. #Eagles.

I just don't understand how these guys with 8 figure contracts struggle to find a local track or drag strip where they could safely drive as fast as they want. Heck, get your agent to reach out to Red Bull or Nascar or something, I'm sure they'd be glad to hook up an NFL player. :dunno:

I always thought the 2008 Gators were the fastest SEC team in history, but 2021-2022 UGA is peerless apparently

Going to be interesting to see how Coach BOOM impacts the defense.

100%, we've sure missed having him in Athens. He'll have plenty of elite talent to work with

Cement Mixer

Using one makes compost mixing so easy. Small batches, but you can make a bunch of them over the summer when it gets really hot.

+1, that's pretty dang clever & not something I would've ever put together

But, I have never seen anything like the foul-hunting and flailing of SGA since prime Harden.

If he keeps it up, we might have to start posting these threads on the soccer board

sorry vandy Rutgers northwestern and Purdue

I know they don't support athletics much ATM but all of these schools have excellent academics & plenty of loaded alumni. Purdue & Vandy especially are one good coach away from being formidable. Vandy will be very interesting this year now that abuelo Pavia is gone

I'm sure the 18-22 year olds will be quick to turn down 6 and 7 figure paychecks because a bunch of old political idiots told them to do so.

Nothing will make them feel more at home than moving to white castle AKA Wisconsin, Indiana, Ohio etc.
From a neutral perspective, I feel like a 5 star QB, 3rd year in the system, solid 5 star WRs to throw to etc. should set up for about as good a year as you're going to get from Sark. It's hard to imagine 2027 being any better than 2026.

I've also heard complaints about line play, which gives me major 2008 Mark Richt UGA vibes. I believe that Kiffin is building a machine at LSU, will be very interested to see how the Texas-LSU game goes 11/14. Hopefully y'all don't wear black jerseys.

Any TX fans that could chime in with more specifics on team weaknesses, strengths etc.??

I got a garden pickaxe from Lowe's for about $30, it's been insanely good for installing shrubbery & trees in my GA red clay yard. You have to get the shovel out eventually once the hole is deep, but the pickaxe busts up the surface & chops through all the roots that normally slow me down.

I'd say it's tripled the amount of digging I can get done, maybe more

Like Sheppard, he sat SGA on the bench

He averaged 33.7 minutes per game on those stacked teams, also let's not act like he came into the NBA and dominated his first (or second) season.

There are much better avenues to trash Calipari, this is just a simple case of hindsight being 20/20

How does this happen? It' been a while since I took Econ 101, but is the Laffer (loool) curve controversial these days??

I don't mind reading his views, but hearing him is another story.

Listening to his podcast is like an exceptionally nasally version of the Charlie Brown "wah-wah" trombone

Save the cynicism, it's a bad look.

There are plenty of holier than thou types, but most Christians I've met believe that they are flawed people in need of a Savior. Personally I don't go through life thinking I've gotten it 100% right - the Bible is always there for a reality check

It's amazing how much time opens up when you put down the cell phone & turn off the computer. As much as I love TD, it sucks a lot of time away too.

It's fun having a 5 paragraph argument with a stranger, but sometimes a break is the best thing you can do. Would love to see how well these kids could cook after a 2 week social media fast
