Do you expect a serious reply to stuff like this? What's the point of even posting?

He's got to be at least second cousins with Joe Dirt & Forrest Gump.

That isn't how the economics of running an airline works
Does it work at all, minus the subsidies? Legit question, it is a convenient option even if it doesnt break even on its own

is it just me or is that kinda shocking?
What's crazy is that a lot of tropical plants struggle or straight up die above 100F. The weather never changes much so they get used to a narrow band of temps.

Zipper Merging works if it wasn't for all the self entitled a-holes driving trucks with truck nuts.
This is like saying communism works imo.
There are always going to be truck nuts when you're dealing with the public. This is not a private club. Your system needs to succeed in spite of the idiots. They're not magically going to become smarter, they're just going to muck it up for everyone else.
I dont personally mind these (roundabouts are fine too) but anything expecting the general public to display an ounce of sense & brainpower seems doomed to fail
re: Is The Cy Young Just An ERA Contest These Days?

Yeah, you're right, wins and losses don't matter at all in sports. Dumb arse pos.
You can do better, try making an argument as to why more wins correlate to who's the best pitcher.
Sounds easy, but it's very difficult to do without using the other, much more accurate (and more widely used) stats such as ERA, WHIP, K/9, and total IP.
Wins have relatively (RELATIVELY) low correlation to pitcher skill as so much is outside of the pitcher's hand. For example, a 4.00 ERA pitcher would have dramatically different records if he pitched for the best offense in the league vs. the worst. His rate stats would all likely be similar unless the difference in offense caused some change in managerial philosophy.
Now imagine a 6.00 ERA pitcher. If they play together, he's going to have a worse season than the 4.00 guy, no matter which team he plays for. If they play for different teams, he will still likely finish with a worse record than the 4.00 guy, even if he has a ton of run support.
It's just not a great metric logically, there are better options to use for the Cy Young

Honestly if anyone gives you grief they can stuff it, this is a better connection than like 90% of American fans have to Euro clubs

If the invoice accounts for everything, then you have no grounds to stand on.
To prove the invoice is inaccurate will require getting an expert to do an inspection.
Paying what he invoiced you is the cheapest and safest course of action.
What baloney. The invoice can't prove the work. You can write whatever you want on an invoice, it takes about 30 seconds in MS Word. It also doesnt prove that the client asked for any of the work, nor agreed to have it done at that particular contractor's price.
If you're quoting me a job at $6,200 I say yes. If you quote that same job at $10k, I might shop around a bit. Make sense?
If you get in there working and find an extra $4k worth of work, you call the client & ask if they wish to proceed. You don't just plow ahead and stick them with the bill. That's a great strategy to spend your time at small claima court instead of getting paid.

Almost as good as the tall guy's stats in church league last week. Almost as high quality competition as church league too

although I do see some drawbacks to a team really going through a rebuild and not wanting to put big salaries on veterans that don't fit the plan.
I agree & think you could possibly carve out a rebuilding exception that allows for a certain # of seasons under the floor within a decade or other defined time period. It would have to be heavily regulated to prevent abuse but might be able to give both sides a decent compromise.

Is public smoking banned in NYC in general? Are cops going to come up & ID check someone for lighting up? This could make for some interesting enforcement

Why not just learn how to shoot a gun? Or use pepper spray? Serious question. And how much of that works when the 6'4" guy has a knife?
I always did sports instead of martial arts, butdefinitely thought it was cool for those who trained. I know most people (me included) would lose a hand to hand fight so I focused on learning to aim & fire lol

Hopefully they had their permits...otherwise the sheriff station may need a visit from management.

(2) at a slow speed so that three (3) or more other vehicles are blocked and cannot pass on the left around the vehicle;
shall give right-of-way to the other vehicles by pulling off to the right of the right lane at the earliest reasonable opportunity and allowing the blocked vehicles to pass.
(b) A person who fails to give right-of-way as required by subsection (a) commits a Class C infraction.
