I live in central FL. My MIL lives in a suburb of Vancouver, BC, 2600 miles away. When she comes down to visit, I cook great stuff for her. All of her kids except my wife had some kind of financial hardship and cost her money, as adults. She appreciates that we had financial responsibility. :cool...
