If you don’t, you should. Don’t be naive and think your wife won’t become a crazy money grabber. Once a lawyer gets ahold of them, it will all change.

I dont think my wife has any real idea of what I have as far as investments, retirement savings, emergency funds, etc.
Unless I squirrel cash away or something it'd all be found. I'm not expecting her to bolt, though.

Not really the same but I had a friend that would always push yes on the "would you like cashback" option on the card reader because his wife was a meticulous ballbuster who wouldn't let him spend a dollar on himself. So everytime he went to the grocery store or some other commercial excursion she approved he would get an extra $20 cash and that was his play money.

My wife wouldn’t know where to go to get any money. I control it all. I don’t think she knows the passwords.

I know a guy who did this. He got busted with a hooker, lost his $250k engineering job and lost his wife too. He tried hiding money (over $400k if I remember correctly). Didn’t work. It’s the most lopsided divorce settlement I’ve ever seen. The judge nailed his azz to the wall.
