I’ll ask you, because you would know, do these exist in northern Arkansas? Google says no, but I’m curious what you think

They should only be in the southern part of Arkansas.

What are they?

Top one is a Blair’s phase Gray-banded kingsnake. People come from across the country to search for them in West Texas.

Bottom is a Trans-Pecos copperhead.

Speaking of snakes in Texas, we got this little gem a couple nights ago…

And this beauty last night…

Rob Rausch of Traitors/Love Island fame is with us.
The Village.

ETA: Loved the movie, but the trailers made it seem like a different kind of movie.
Just an inch short of qualifying.
On the height, that is.

Saw it years ago. Row 7, next to Drew Brees (other side of the aisle). Thought he’d have better seats. He left his Twizzler wrapper on the floor. Trashy. I still have it.
It used to be heavenly.
It’s a different place post-Katrina.
I’m glad I got to grow up there in the ‘70s/‘80s.

RIP.
Had no idea he was an LSU grad.
My wife returns things on a regular basis - easily about 1/3 of the clothes/shoes she buys. It’s like a sport to her. Shopping apparently brings her joy whether it’s at a store or online. And apparently returning stuff is part of the fun. It’s mind boggling.

Lots of fires when I was down there last year. Some on my last trip but not in the area I was catching snakes. In some areas it can help if controllable, in other areas it can be destructive. Bad drought this year so it was to be expected.

Broad-banded water snake
Yes.
I moved 34 Western diamondbacks (25 babies) off the road in one night in West Texas.

Through a series of u-turns, driving slow, and flashers on at one point I was able to help it get all the way across the road

It’s easier with your fingers.

I move the bigger ones too…

Leaving Thursday for another 12-day stint in West Texas.

Bacon sammich with mayo.
Takedowns, but largely ineffective.
Yes. I was heading to Atlanta at night and in the distance saw a light in the sky. It looked similar to the space station - sort of like a bright star but a bit larger. Then it just shot off in one direction and disappeared, far too fast to be a jet.
You’ll want to try traveling across the country to catch and free-handle venomous snakes. Thank me later.
I’m still amazed every time I go to the grocery store for just a few bags of simple items. Sticker shock hits me every time.

At the pump, I’m definitely noticing the increase in gas prices when I do a
3-4,000 mile snake trip. Everglades 2 weeks ago, West Texas next week.
Loved RizGod’s comment to Ozzy: “You said too much. I’ll explain later.”

Not much more to add that wasn’t said already: Boneheaded moves by Ozzy and Jonathan.

Good. I used to catch snakes on that road.
