Cozumel is going to get raped. It's heading right for the island.

Calm down people, It's not going to Lake Charles. The fearmongering will be high cause people want the drama of you getting hit twice. Just chill.

Did we not learn anything from the early pages of the Laura thread when it comes to speaking in absolutes about what will or won't happen this far out?

Should just be some wind and rain for Nola. Shouldn’t be too bad. All according to most recent forecasts.

"y'all shite is already messed up, so it might as well hit y'all and spare us the damage"

vs.

"we're just getting things back together, it should hit y'all instead"

Lake Charles is definitely in the cone AND the NHC center track is trending Westward.

Dude trees had not much to do with the ENTIRE power grid having to be rebuilt from scratch. You have no idea. The poles themselves including transmission towers were all just completely wiped out. There are still piles upon piles of debris lining every street in town. We finally all got power back, but there are still people trying to salvage what they can of their homes. There are roofers replacing shingles as I type this, which will be for nothing. Not to mention the lack of internet which they are FINALLY working on. It would be devastating in every way.

Guys I’m sorry. It’s not what I meant. I’m well aware of the state of repairs and the last thing anyone needs is to have that all erased and start all over. It was a shitty point to make just in terms of tree damage and infrastructure.

I use imgflip because it is free. Someone else may know of a gif maker site that does twitter videos better but that was all I could find.

Calm before the storm... pretty day at the beach in Cancun, tomorrow there could be 125+ mph winds here.

If the track goes that far west at this point, it would be a major error by NHC. They had Laura nailed at 4 days out.

Just been trying to figure out how to repost directly from Twitter. Pics are no problem, but Gifs have been a mystery.
