Have seen several teachers get fired from Catholic schools for being pregnant out of wedlock.

God created the heavens and the earth we are not his only creation. Merely a spec among infinite creations.

re: 8 ft. Pull Behind Trawl

If pulling for bait 8’ is the biggest you can pull I believe without a trawl license. My dad kept one in a rubber maid tote in the hold of his boat and we would pull 10 minute drags before daylight to catch live shrimp and croaker for a day of trout fishing. If you looking to catch h enough shrimp to fill the freezer I would go no smaller than 16’ but that’s another animal much bigger boards tickle chain etc.
Let’s see how all that solar works out for them. Dumbasses deserve the starvation they will cause from failed crops due to lack of sunlight.
Democrats were at the wheel for 12 of the last 16 years so it’s on them if we blaming political parties.
First real one in the wild for me was a front desk worker at a hotel in west Yellowstone. Had Gigi on its name tag probably a 60 ish year old man dressed as a woman. He wasn’t fooling anyone but himself.

My first AR build was a Delton upper on a cmmg lower. No issues with it hard to believe any company building rifles could go out of business. PSA must have captured the lions share of the market.

It is really not that bad.

I have a 40v Ryobi leaf blower and it barely has enough battery life to blow off my 16’x28’ deck one time much less my entire driveway. Would have to charge between doing both it’s ok for getting some leaves off a small area but is in no way comparable to a gas unit.

re: PTO Stump Grinder Attachment

I have a woodland mills pot stump grinder and it’s been awesome. Have probably ground 50+ stumps and am still in the first set of teeth. I would say a hydrostatic tractor is a must. Just take small bites saw two inches or so at a time and barely crawl. It will grind about 10-12” below grade. Small pine stumps say 12” diameter it eats like butter and will be done in minutes. Did a massive water oak stumps and it took about an hour but it was probably 3’ diameter and they had cut it pretty high off the ground. Well worth the $2500 if you have a bunch of stumps to grind

Eta: I’m running it off a Kubota L4701 HST

I would up your deductible to $5000 or even $10000 and see if it makes a difference in premium. I am the type of person that wouldn’t file a claim unless the damages are in excess of $10k
God I hope they don’t cut rates. Should never go below 5% imo if you can’t afford to borrow money at 5-6% you have no business borrowing that money in the first place. I’m finally making a few buck in interest the last couple years. The fed rate near zero got us into this mess.

100k for a 4 year degree. the world is insane

It sure is and those starting salaries for the majority of fields are about the same as they were 20 years ago when I graduated college. 15 hours was $1500-1600 a semester when I was an undergrad. I could work for the summer and make enough to cover my tuition.

Eta: so grateful my son was appointed to a service academy. Gives me another three years before I have to worry about the next one’s college expenses

re: F250 Oil Leak

2024 Ram 2500 crew cab 4x4 tradesman with the 6.4L hemi. First gas truck in over 15 years with the amount I tow these days I just couldn’t bring myself to spend $75+k on a new truck. Paid $49k for this one wich is sad since I paid $50k for the F250 lariat diesel fx4 new in 2012. New one has 4.11 rear end and has plenty get up and go for a gasoline truck. That said I haven’t towed heavy with it yet. Gets only 1 mpg less than my diesel and fuel is almost a dollar a gallon cheaper for me now.

Man I just traded my 2012 in for the same exact thing. Had recently had the water pump and cab bushings replaced along with belt. Changed the starter on my own then the oil leaks got worse. Was quoted around $7,500 at local dealership as they have to drop the transmission etc to open it up and change all seals. Just couldn’t bring myself to drop that much on a 13 year old truck worth $14k on a good day. Mine had around 225k miles when it started leaking oil.

These other countries are heavily subsidizing their ship building industries

They also have dirt cheap expendable labor and don’t have to deal with osha, epa, deq etc

I would rather us scrap the Jones Act entirely

The jones act is the only thing keeping what little ship building industry we have alive. You would have foreign flagged and crewed vessels pushing barges up the Mississippi in no time. We can’t compete price wise on large container ships and tankers we would no doubt build a fantastic product but our lead time and price would be ridiculous compared to what they can do in Asia. Jones act keeps the small shipyards active building for the oil and gas along with brown water.
The Houma/thib outflow has to be because of skyrocketing insurance rates. Hearing accounts of escrows jumping $1,000 a month due to insurance costs.
