Love the “RIGHT FIELD SUCKS” at the beginning. Don’t know if left field and right field still battle at the new corporate stadium but the GA outfield sections at Rosenblatt were awesome.

What kind of psychopath only goes through the zipper when they pee? It’s not that hard to undo your belt and unbutton the pants. From that point it’s not hard to go from out the top of the underwear. And you don’t get scratched up on the zipper.

The last two times LSU was in the CWS they had to battle some extremely good teams. The definitive best teams in the regular season in Oregon State in 2017 and Wake Forest in 2023.

Arkansas is a good team but it’s Arkansas. There’s no 4 loss Oregon State or Wake Forest LSU has to deal with this time.

Not much debate too it. Brian Wilson heard Rubber Soul and said I’m going to make the greatest album ever written and locked himself away, filled his living room with sand, and wrote Pet Sounds.

Of course then the Beatles responded with Sgt Peppers and the final piano chord made Brian Wilson lose his mind and go insane for a while. He said “they did it. They already did it” and couldn’t believe it.

Truly a remarkable time in music history.

Musicians from the 60s and 70s are going to start going fast. Really bums me out. They’ll always live on through their music but it’s cool to have the connection to them of them still being alive. It’s nice to put on a song or an album and know that guy is still kicking it and even performing. It’s a little different once they’re dead.

A lot of people don’t truly appreciate Pet Sounds. Taken from a historical perspective, people didn’t write albums like that back then. He really broke the mold when it came to what people knew about albums. Of course the Beatles ended up taking that into the stratosphere with Revolver and Sgt Peppers but Brian Wilson got them first.
