Personal opinion, I think the coffee make has some effect on quality of brew, but not near as much as people think
I think it is mostly keeping it clean, don't leave grinds in all day. When done, empty and rinse the pot and basket, regularly clean out and decalcify the reservoir/machine
That goes a long way to great coffee

Coffee is simple. Good Beans, burr grinder and water. Then press under pressure to extract all that coffee bean oil goodness!

Moccamaster is about $360.
I just bought a Moccamaster. My only gripe is that it uses all the water in the reservoir. My old ninja could be set on a timer and would make how much you wanted, I have had to adjust to make my coffee when I wake up.

Depends on how many cups you need. I’m the only coffee drinker so need one big mug each morning. I use the larger Hario Switch and a Baratza Encore to grind my beans. Grinding beans fresh is the biggest key to good coffee that I’ve found.

Part of beauty…. No timers or other shite to break.
Follow the instructions on your weight of coffee to water ratio and you’re good to go.
I measure my beans, throw them in the grinder and fill the water to where I need to. For myself, 41g of beans and the 6 cup line.
Oh and I gave the Kirkland Ethiopian beans a shot because I knew I needed coffee and I was already at Costco. $18 for 2lbs. Vacuum sealed 1lb and froze it. I’m on the frozen bag right now and they taste the same. Not too shabby.
I’ve been getting beans from the Next Chapter lady on Saturdays who is with Blue Rabbit Bake House. She has some damn good shite. However, it’s $18 for 12oz. So, on par with the other local roasters.

I like my Keurig
That's all I use with a reusable "sock." The individual cups are expensive, but a reusable coffee holder allows me to make my own blends and it is very cheap that way. Of course, it only makes on cup at a time.
Also have French press.

French press, you’ll never go back.

I also love Keurig. Got a basic one for Christmas a couple of years ago. It went out. Went to the thrift store were they usually have 5 of them. Grab one that cost 120.00 at Walmart for ten bucks. Ran it through a cleaning cycle and it works good as new.
