lol. that one can be chalked up to auto correct on an iPhone.
What happens to a military guy that actively undermines or disobeys his superior officer? I’m asking honestly.

I know it would start with a court Marshall.

Moccamaster is about $360.

I just bought a Moccamaster. My only gripe is that it uses all the water in the reservoir. My old ninja could be set on a timer and would make how much you wanted, I have had to adjust to make my coffee when I wake up.

It could be cool if the "everyone has power here, you just have to learn to control it" thing were true, or at least to some degree.

the Old Maid theory is interesting. There is an old Whitman Old Maid card game deck that pretty much has all the night monsters on the cards. The theory is that Victor had a deck and the night monsters are his creation and that is how he survived.

I think this last episode kind of blew that up being that the totems didn't do anything to the night monsters but will knock down the dolls and the MiY creations (or so we assume). Maybe the dolls are the MiY creations and the totem staffs hurt them but won't hurt the nightmare manifestations.

Im not sure where this show goes. It seems they are closer to an ending than they were so im not sure how to drag it out 14 more episodes to get to the end if they even go one more season.

I can't see it in detail, but it sure seems to be a Nike golf logo

First glance, I was coming here to say it looked liked a Nike golf logo also.
If he had waited for them to be gone, I wonder if they could have charged him with anything. At that point, you are just destroying something that is yours. No different than if she went out and took a bat to a collector car, just to a higher degree.

Don't we get another 20 extra scholarships now? The cap went from 85 to 105?

I am 100% good with taking some 2 or 3 star kids that want to be at Auburn in those extra 20 spots. Even if they are projects, kids that are good with a scholarship and love for the place that aren't eating up a bunch of NIL but can have time to improve.
I’ve been using a Filson Dryden for 5 years daily for work and there isn’t a torn stitch yet.
Well I was going to say this was the easiest Guess the Race ever until I realized it was Britain and know that they have to be Muslim.

I really don’t understand the eggshell walking when it comes to not convicting crimes anymore. These boys filmed it, put it online and they still won’t castrate these boys? Come on. This should have been the line in the sand and they should have been a public hanging to straight up say that shot like this isn’t allowed.

We’re doing the same thing here. We keep excusing behavior because “they don’t know better”. It’s bullshite.

I get what people are saying about it not being connected to any greater purpose and that the stakes were low, but it was a fun movie and we felt like we got our monies worth.

S I watched SW Theories’ review of it this morning and he pretty much echoes everyone else. This movie is kind of just there. It’s fun but it feels like the show extended.

The reason I responded to you was that he said the one thing he wished it did and it really needed to do was connect this movie to Thrawn/Ashoka by teasing it near the end and trying to connect it to the Universe in some other way.

I don’t hate this movie, so that’s enough for a recommendation

By nudging “The Mandalorian” onto the big screen, Disney, the purveyor of the “Star Wars” multiverse, is offering nothing more (or less) than a couple of likable, diverting, semi-forgettable episodes jammed together.

I avoided all spoilers and all reviews to go in knowing nothing about this movie. I went a see this afternoon. It was cute enough but these two reviews sum up exactly what I felt leaving.

The movie very much felt like two mando episodes put on the big screen. I liked it but I have nothing really good to say about it. Embo was badass. Grogu is exactly where the show left him, he hasn’t advanced at all. I’m not a Pedro pascal fan but mando’s fight scenes were the highlight. Weaver felt so out of place in this movie like they brought her in just to have some type of homage name for Alien.
My buddy in the Boston area makes me laugh. He always talked about how the south is so racist until he came down to Alabama and took a wrong turn. He had never been in a ghetto or seen ghetto trashy people.

The only black he ever interacts with are educated professionals.

Not goofing, was the last season not the last season? He gave away the restaurant and walked away from it at the end right? How do you pick up from that unless he is going to go back to make the steak sandwiches and be happy?

it very well could be. I would assume that they have already eaten the bulk of the costs already in set designs and wardrobe. The costs should be coming down on season 2 and that is probably why they have already renewed rather than viewership guiding it.
I think a lot of what he said is correct and a chunk is wrong.

I think A New Hope was made for kids. kept it simple, showed some cool stuff. I think the rest of the OG Trilogy told the rest of that story to the same kids that were growing up. It was mature enough for adults at the time and simple enough for kids to follow.

The prequels told a continuation of the same story to a new set of kids while wrangling in the old adults. They were a cohesive story with a known ending. They weren't ever going to be super popular because they were trying to tell a lot of story in 3 movies with an ending that was always going to be the same. This is why the Clone Wars and the expanded prequel universe is so good. There is a lot of material you can make for that era that is great.

The sequels were made for a different audience. Disney thought that the fanbase would be built in and they could cater to the edges of fandom and that didn't work because the original fans didn't want that. They didn't just gobble up a turd and smile, they fought back on bad storytelling and bad characters that were underdeveloped.

Rey isn't a bad character, she is just too powerful too quickly. Finn could have been a wonderful character and they abandoned him (and this is coming from someone who thinks that Boyega is a pretty shitty actor). Poe got neutered. They introduced new and boring shitting female characters no one gave a shite about. They killed off the legacy character that connected everything while the actress who played the other legacy character actually died and they used CGI to keep her alive in the movies.

The sequels were made to try to bring females into Star Wars and that just doesn't work. Typically, women aren't into sci-fi movies and universes as much as men. You have to cater to your audience.

I don't think this has a happy ending. The theme song is literally "whatever will be, will be." I don't think Julie can change anything and there's a decent chance that her attempts will somehow cause them all to end up there in the first place

Im not sure she will be able to "travel" outside the town but I don't think she will be able to change anything either. The only hang up is when we first meet the MiY, she ran in saying something about changing. I don't remember if she says she changed something or she said she couldnt.

I think it will take a bit of a hit this year but then get better each year. We were limited by the overall team before.

Like has been stated and beaten to death, our offense has been shite for 10 years due to the offensive line. When we had bangers in there, the rest were so bad they drug the good ones down.

Hopefully, a new and upcoming coach will breath life into the team and I think Golesh can. He has said and done everything right so far. He needs a year or two of P5 "success" to be able to recruit at high levels. If I was an 18 year old looking at schools as a top tier offensive player, I would have taken a pay cut not to play for Auburn the last 10 years. Our offense has been horrible and put no one in the league worth noting.

I think our defense will continue to get better with a step down this year.

I am hoping for competitive games week in and week out and 8 or 9 wins would be a success with our schedule. There is a good chance we start 4-0 and then travel to Arkansas at 4-4. 8 wins would be a pretty good regular season, it would mean that we had one or two "upsets" for the season.

Then they'll feel the wrath of every single American who currently makes more than $25/hr (which is probably most people who work). Every single one of them will lose big time, and it'll take YEARS for THEIR wages to catch up to the astronomical rise in prices.

this is the part that everyone misses. If min wage is 7.25 now and someone has worked for 5 years for a company and now makes 14.50. They have gotten skills and exactly 100% in wage increases in the time they have worked there. What are you going to pay them if min wage goes to 25 an hour? are you going to bump them to 25 an hour and pay them the same as the person walking in the door with no skill set at all or are you going to pay them 32.50 and amount to an increase of basically 20% rather the 100% increases they have had? Are you going to pay them 50 an hour and double min wage like they had done before?

In reality, none of these are true. They will most likely be replaced by an automated robot of some sort that can do the job more efficiently and without labor regulations governing breaks and such.
I've got a guy that works on the asphalt crew that looks a lot like this.
I see everyone is making jokes about it but im going to ask the real question: is there a rule saying you have to supply water cups? I've never understood why they will give the cheap clear water cups to watch people go over and get a soda.

If I owned a fast food place and had to provide water cups, they would be the size a thimble. They would barely hold a 1/2 oz of drink.
