It’s a shame that nobody gives a damn about our parks. Places like Gettysburg and Yellowstone are America’s jewels and we treat them like an armpit. 25 years of service and I couldn’t take the internal woke nonsense anymore.
Is the holder why people don’t give a damn?
That said, they are still crowded, so people do actually give a damn.
I don’t have a dog. Much of my red oak hardwood floors are 80 years old and finished only with stain and wax. They look good. Noticeable scratches are rare. I really only wax them every 10 years or so - they would look even better if I did it more often. The polyurethaned floors in my house show scratches much more. I prefer the waxed floor.
I don’t think LVP would look this good after 80 years.

Is the golf course that was in North Baton Rouge where the "water" feature of half of the holes was just the big drainage ditch that went through the property still there?
I think Howell Park closed.

They’re actually one of the most underpaid professionals in our country. Considering their responsibilities, what they’re tasked with and do (and deal with) on a daily basis, and what they’re paid, it’s a wonder we have anyone left who still wants to do it.
The issue is they generally don’t do what they are tasked to do - educate kids. In many places they are political hacks trying to turn children into political beings, not educated adults. Pushing bad ideas on gender, oppression, socialism/marxism (these listed may all be redundant).
If they did do a good job, perhaps they would be paid more.
And as bad as many teachers are, administrators and government officials who won’t enforce discipline in school and who let bad teachers continue to “teach” are the bigger issue.

Staring to eat my ripe tomatoes too.
Pick them at the breaker stage - when they are 10-30% colored. No need to ripen on the vine. It has done all it will do and they will finishing ripening indoors.

Districts should make geographical and cultural sense
I don’t think so. This is how you elect candidates who are extreme in one way or another. If the district has a broad coalition, then the candidate has to moderate positions to appeal to everyone. While I lean pretty far to the right of what is currently considered center, if we had more centrists in government we would probably be better off.
If that’s under the overhang, you can still see the field. And you stay dry when it rains if row 35 is the last or second to last row. But you get the coldest wind when the temperature drops late in the year - it funnels the wind through there.

Does this guy ever actually go into the office?
For the most part, a Lane Kiffin coached Ole Miss was a better coached team than LSU. So, he probably spends enough time coaching - they were fundamentally better than LSU.

I'm definitely not willing to risk my life shopping for a toaster at Williams Sonoma.
No worries. Didn’t Williams Sonoma leave the mall a few years back?
The most we have done in the mall in the last decade is a quick trip in and out of Macy’s or Dilliards. Is there anywhere else inside worth going?
Essentially no line this past Wednesday at 10:00 am.

All of the smug actors who thought they could get away with it are now staring at prison time.
Conviction will be very difficult. Will be hard pressed to find enough conservative jurors. It will only take a few liberals to prevent conviction and very few liberals would consider finding them guilty. Even if the evidence of guilt is overwhelming, jury nullification will rule the day.

I actually think it’s wild to put a pet down that already reached 17. Unless something really bad is going on.
Ever smelled cat urine? That is something “really bad” and the smell is very difficult to remove.

In what reality are we winning? We’re not any closer to opening the Strait of Hormuz and the IRGC is still firmly in control.
We have accomplished delaying nukes and degrading missile capabilities. And navy. These were the main goals.

Mine happened at 38. Took a step back to take a three pointer and it popped. I was in decent shape back then. Always playing something and had played basketball for two hours a couple of weeks before with no issues. The Achilles is just a wrong move away from popping for most anyone.

You need ESPN+ sub to watch them all. If you have YTTV you can watch games via SECN but they are rarely on that channel until postseason (unless its the in broadcast market game).
This is wrong. I have watched many games on SECN+ in the ESPN app, which does not require an ESPN+ subscription.

Hole 2 maybe the most challenging golf hole I have ever played. I would actually like to see 50 pros play it in a tournament from the tips and see the scoring average
I don’t think it would be a big struggle. I played in the club championship with a long hitter there and he hit driver, 5-iron I think.
I’ve made more triples on it than birdies, maybe even pars, but I’m too stuborn to play it intelligently.

My beefsteaks are loaded with tomatoes. the pole beans are 2 feet past my 8' trellis and have baby beans on them.
I planted probably the second week of February. Started slow, but things moving now. Got some Sun Sugar and Sugar Rush cherry tomatoes starting to ripen. Larger tomatoes starting to really put on fruit. Violet Delight eggplants finally flowering after a very slow start. Some 4” long banana peppers. Sugar snap peas being inundated with powdery mildew. Harvested yellow squash three times already.

I have my leather one that I bought in 1999 in front of me right now. Why replace it if it works?
I have a cloth Lay- Z Boy recliner/rocker from about 1987 or 8. Does need to be recovered, but it is tucked back in our bedroom now. Just can’t get rid of it - all our kids were rocked in that thing. Still works perfectly and is very comfortable.

It makes it more difficult to determine who is valedictorian. I know of someone who was not valedictorian because they took one more class then the named valedictorian - choir or a foreign language (can’t remember). Since it was only on a scale of 4, it lowered their GPA and dropped them from being valedictorian. They had more credits, but a lower GPA. I think the school may have subsequently fixed their ranking system, but it was stupid to begin with.
