I heard his guitar work during Covid and started going to his live shows on his New Years Eve runs in New Orleans. They all have been magical. He has evolved quite a bit over the last few years, is on fire right now and it seems he is getting better.

Got tix for the upcoming NOLA shows again and hoping to catch one elsewhere.

fwiw- I listen to a fair amount of bluegrass now due to Billy.

Because it has been ordained since the dawn of man that Pecan Island would be the hub for our need to form an extraterrestrial civilization off our home planet.

This right here. I'm almost convinced the earth was reset about 12K years ago by a large scale flood event.
That is horrific. May a God have mercy on their souls.

Get a cabin near Government Camp, Oregon and wander around the Mt Hood Wilderness and the surrounding area. It's perfect for what you want to do. You could do all three of the items you listed from there and go rafting too.
Seen a quite a few natural wonders...here is the most recent one.

Spare me, its a monopoly. Its not hard to be extremely successful and charge way too much when the scum politicians lock out ALL competition from an industry that has to exist for society to function.

Allow me to run an ambulance company here and consumer rates would be cut in half overnight.

Yep, house gets real quiet once that last one leaves. For us, after 25 years of having at least one in the house is has been a real shocker since May when baby Crow left the homestead.
Needed some to go river rafting and now keep em around for yard work, biking etc.. not all the time.

re: UNO Seating

One of my favorite local venues because I grew up a few blocks from UNO, access in and out of the arena has always been pretty easy (Lakeshore Drive ftw) and I have seen many Monster shows in that place as well. I have tickets to Sturgill and both Panic shows so I be coming home for a few days again!!

As mentioned, there are really no bad seats there.
Interesting thread. I play guitar as a hobby but my interest wanes from time to time and I cannot get any apps to record because Im just not that guy.. This is interesting in that I can take ideas in my head (I have alot of them there!) and match it with a few chords that flow, and then upload and see what happens.

Thanks.

fwiw I might add another "I" before hammer on the "Where I grind and hammer" line. It might flow better.

RIP Frank. I had all there good early stuff in HS on 8-track and vinyl they were played until they couldn't be played no more. My first show at the Warehouse in NOLA (and second real concert ever) was the night they recorded Fandango on 4/12/74.

If you only have 1.5 days I would try to do Going to the Sun Road and 2 of these hikes depending on your level. Highline Trail, Grinnell Glacier, Hidden Lake Overlook, Iceberg Lake, and Avalanche Lake. Enjoy, it's a spectacular park and Whitefish is cool as well.

I have tickets to Sturgill at UNO on the 27th and seeing these 2 shows would be a home run week of music. :usa:
And He built it in less than a week. I always wished He taken more time and gotten it dialed in a bit more. I would have tighten up all the slack space on days 8 & 9 and got rid of the grumpy people on day 10. But that's just me.
