I almost ashamed of womenkind not all but a lot. All around me I see women losing their damn minds.
Killing their own children
Standing in solidarity with that
Making videos and hurting their own child on Social Media
It’s disgusting and I fear women’s Stance in the future. It’s insanity.
I’m afraid for this verdict
The precedent it will make for women’s future is big
ETA- Stigers own words

Is this the 2nd day in a row the jury has asked to leave early?
Feels like it's gotten very emotional in the jury deliberation room and they can't stand to be around each other anymore
This is a hung jury

The reddit post said it perfectly. The court proceeds should move forward as they are(Massachusetts criminal procedure for NGRI should be changed 100%) but women shouldn't be cheerleading her. It's psycho.

Maybe a little early, yes.
If the online rhetoric regarding this case is any indication, then it's a safe bet that it's happening in the jury room too.

This is the part I can't believe. A prosecutor having to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that someone did something, sure. The legal system needs those guardrails. The fact that their NGRI procedure is that you can throw it out there and now someone has to prove you were NOT insane? And, conveniently, her psychosis manifested in a way that caused her to ignore medical advice and plot a way to have her husband leave to give her time to murder her kids. That doggone postpartum psychosis will make you do some intricate planning for your murders. Good thing she's cured now!

Idk who can answer this — I haven’t watched the trial and know very little.
Was there a thorough investigation done of any evidence found or was it basically treated as open and shut?
Again I truly know actually less than very little.
(I mean I would assume so but … )

I’ve wondered the same thing. How has her depression been for the past three years? Certainly someone who unknowingly killed their children should suffer severe depression after the realization. Did everything go away the second her last child stopped breathing? Most convenient psychosis I’ve ever seen.

That dude is an evil piece of shite, and the state of South Carolina ended up paying his wife/the children's mother $1.5 million for failing to protect those children. DSS failed those children by allowing him to keep custody rights despite multiple reports of neglect and abuse.

The arrest warrant was issued the next day.

I brought this one up to others.
His psychosis was real, yet he got hammered. He claimed demonic gremlin voice told him to murder his children and he feared they were going to kill him, chop him up, and feed him to the dogs.
What floors me is that this ruling hinges on not that you are crazy, but that you were not in control at the time of the murder. As in Ted Bundy was clearly crazy, but his psychopathy was such that he was in control of what he was doing.
What I can't get behind is that she was somehow not in control, but she acted immediately after her husband left the house and purposefully and meticulously strangled all 3 children one by one. Andrea Yates was left alone for a few weeks every day for an hour in the morning and in the afternoon (her husband's decision) before she committed her killings, and I'm supposed to believe it only took one time for Lindsay Clancy when she facilitated her husband's absence? Nope; I can't get with that.

It would surprise me if they ever get a jury to convict on murder charges. People are very entrenched. There's not much room for convincing one side to join the other except that they're tired of being in the room together and the minority caves
The state of Mass and the jury makeup is disconcerting to say the least. I have a bad feeling a mistrial/hung jury will happen. Clancy deserves life without, but that jury won't see it that way.

I wasn’t defending him by any means. I posted it to point out the obvious double standard.
