The place is so trashed out it hardly looks natural.

I often tell people

Unless you like hunting and fishing, there’s not a real strong reason to live in Louisiana

Maybe low taxes ?

Otherwise, there’s much better places to live and not that far from here

Natural environment?
I don’t know about that one.

We would rank a lot higher if they would have categories for fun, food and culture.

Utah is number one on the list. I would go nuts if I had to live in Utah and Utah Jazz is the biggest oxymoron I have ever heard.

I’ve always said that the Saints and 49ers should swap, because San Francisco = St. Francis, and Louisiana is 49th in everything.

I’m listening to Trombone Shorty, drinking a sazerac, ate a bowl of gumbo that will make you kick your manicured neighborhood sign, and may go to Treme or Marigny for some mid week live music.

Rank this! Life is short metrics vs US News editors’ lives metrics…world’s apart.

Happy guru purnima! BTW.

Nope.

Texas and Florida have hunting, fishing, and much lower overall taxes.

I ask this is good faith. Is Louisiana even a good state for hunting compared to other flyover states? is it any better than states like Arkansas, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio, Georgia?

It's great if you like to fish or deer hunt. There's not that much to do outdoors otherwise, and you have ten months of hot and humid and two months of cold and rainy.

Curious to see if all the data centers affect the economy rating in the future.
