I know this was probably said as a joke, but for an outdoorsman you can have some fantastic blast and cast days

Honestly I'd have a hard time finding a place worse than South Louisiana

add Port Aransas to that list
Horrifying weapons?

A pump action shotgun and a bolt action rifle?
Overall impressions

LSU is in a very healthy position. I always knew they were in a good spot but I’m actually impressed.

They could easily wipe out that roughly $1 loss and start operating in the black if they wanted to. There is still juice to squeeze in baseball, and men’s basketball has real growth potential considering most of their expenses are already tapped out.

Swimming is the biggest loser when looking at it from a wholistic approach. Women’s basketball is when looking at it from a purely financial perspective. Track and field looks worse than it really is.

I know we like Kim Mulkey because women’s basketball salary and wages are way out of line

I'm wondering what revenue was deferred? The balance sheet shows LSU Athletics is negative 35M, but it's only because of that.
The statement of net assets was as of June 30th, 2024.

My assumption is that the large deferred revenue balance is for tickets and advertisements sold for the upcoming fall sports. GAAP requires you to keep those as deferred revenue and recognize as occurred. Which in this case is a by game basis.

The payments for football tickets, which is one of the largest drivers, are due in March. That leaves enough time for them to run the difference between assets and liabilities through the income statement and off the balance sheet. Would need a statement of cashflow to confirm where of course, but they don’t provide
I didn’t realize these were available
At my school all the Debo’s were from the same family. Red headed Irish family. They ended up all dying in a family car crash. There was this feeling their whole family was going to go down at some point

Do you expect a promotion or to move up the ladder by simply ‘completing my tasks’? Honest question because I hear that a lot from the younger generation.
Yes. Yes I do. At least up until a certain point.

I want the least stressful way to provide for my family and spend my free time hunting, fishing, and with them.

I’m not saving he can’t be great, because obviously Stingley was, but Dunham plays in a bad league

re: Lab grown diamonds

I paid extra to have mine mined by some malnourished child from Southern Africa.

All jokes aside it doesn’t really make a difference. My only advice would be to not buy some massive lab diamond just because it’s now in your budget. Anything over 2.5cts starts to look tacky

Wtf does that have to do with op?
It doesn’t. Babytac just like to brag about all the old shite he never spends his money on

We didnt celebrate it, until my teens.
Curious. What changed for yall to start celebrating in your teens?

Mascona isnt giving lsu millions, terrible analogy.
Of the big money men associated with Michigan, Dave is a small fry.
Matt is also a small fry when it comes to actual information.

Does Moscona actually have any inside sources at LSU or elsewhere for that matter?
No. He is a pompous clown who gets on his multiple different media platforms to regurgitate the same bland information, with the sole intention of selling as many advertisements as possible (minus the airtime he takes away to prop up his own businesses)
Dave has as much influence on UM and Matt Mascona has inside information on LSU

She got pregnant? Holy shite.
He then paid for her abortion
I use to get nervous everytime I shot when I was the one with the gun. Then I started bow hunting and that changed the game. I still get excited, but I’m not nervous unless it’s a big buck.

Shooting a deer at 25 yds with a bow is whole different ball game.
Part of what makes her so attractive is the fact that she has that “girl next door” face.

This thread is great to see.

I have my first on the way, a baby boy, and I couldn’t be more excited.
