I wonder what Utah doesn’t have that makes them so good and what Louisiana has a lot of that makes us so bad

As someone who has driven to 48 states now, BUUUULLLLLLSHHHHIIIITTTT.

When you get one stat so blatantly wrong, your methods have to be examined.

Yeah everything outside of Minneapolis and Duluth are deep red. Even in Minneapolis I'm surprised how many conservatives there are.

Also, the poster brought up George Floyd. People here are very aware and not at all proud of how the aftermath was handled. I don't how many times I've heard "it was different before George Floyd ".

Racist list. The top states are also the whitest states with some Asians thrown in. No Latinos or Blacks.

Immediately stopped reading when they ranked California ahead of Texas. List is automatic shite bc of this and everyone should ignore.

somebody on TexAgs in a similar thread said (paraphrasing:)

"i'm so glad i live in Connecticut and our local election campaigns are 'We're #2 in education and if y'all elect me, i'll get us to #1. it's so refreshing that our conversations aren't about crime, race, immigration, woke, or whatever y'all deal with in TX."

they're thisclose to figuring out why they don't have to deal with that.

Been trying to convince the wife to move there, LA is a joke.

I've only been to NE Utah and it was pretty nice, clean, and generally quiet. The people seem to be about as bland as you could possibly be, but I guess that's a fair trade off.

That’s my one gripe so far about moving out of Louisiana. All of the restaurant/bars here are too sterile for me. Especially after living in Nola, I realized that I like some grunge while having a beer.

Utah is an amazing state and SLC is my favorite big city in the country. It's amazingly clean. Most everyone has an outdoors attitude and the business climate is awesome.
