Yet he is actually performing to the point that he should have actually been taken EARLIER in the draft

Five members of the 2024 draft class have negative win shares, he is one of them. So no, he shouldn't have been "taken earlier"

Pick any metric you want, compare him among the second rounders, it doesn't matter. He shouldn't be logging NBA minutes.

He averaged 12 points a game his senior year a little better than his 11 point average as a junior. Terrible shooter with just average assists and steals

You do understand this is all relative, right? The 2000 Spartans only averaged 74 PPG. And no one would argue he was a scoring PG to begin with.

Mateen was a great leader and college PG. Not having success as a pro doesn't mean he was overrated as a college player.

I am hoping to see Aaron in Minnesota purple for at least one season.

As a Lions fan, I am hoping for this as well.

He is not a HOF lock with those stats.

Three MVPs, four time runner-up. Trout was the best player of the 2010s. Even if you don't believe he was, the only players who could lay claim to that are sure-fire HOFers.

I mean...Jesus Christ "not a HOF lock."

He is.

In no small part due to him and his Stage 5 cancer locker room presence.

He will be better in Pittsburgh too.

Mine, actually.

You aren't authorized to use it.

Usually benefits from a couple details.

Brian, 48, Eunice, never been to New Orleans, held the line in the great Perkins Rowe "urban youth takeover" of 2011

It’s the best roster in the NFL and I don’t think it’s particularly close, especially on offense

The Lions have the best roster in football.
If we can get E Eric Guirard to show that same respect to Ron LeClerc, perhaps then the world will heal.
