I think it also factors in whether or not you have kids/family you plan to leave money to. Not everyone has that, and you can certainly live on less if you don't have inheritance plans to consider.

Only a litte with my dad. My grandparents were both dead before I was born.. Most of what I did with my dad was cutting down trees for firewood and hauling it out of the woods. But it was good times.
