This. The NRA publishes some magazines that devote a page or two to people defending themselves and their property. Always interesting and fun to read.

I have had to do it three times with two chocolate labs and one yellow lab. My vet gave me some good advice. Your job as a pet owner is to give them the best life but also give them the best death. They deserve to go with dignity and pain free. It still is never easy and hurts my heart.

The way it ends is brilliant.

So in order for the n word defense to be used, the former future Supreme Court justice must take the stand, right?

I hope this case makes it clear you cannot assault or kill somebody for the words they say. Too many people in this country believe this.

I did not.
You were obviously not raised right.

I always say this. Why do people accept this statement as truth? Would be a a National revolt.

Overall my HOA is pretty good. Occasionally they do annoying things. Two that come to mind:

1) A portable basketball goal is setup by one of my neighbors in the middle of our cul de sac closer to three other driveways than my driveway. I get a couple of letters about it that I just pitch thinking that they mailed the letters to everyone in the cul de sac. Finally, I get a really nasty letter that pushes me to call them up. Talked to this young man who informed me that I was the only one getting the letters. When I explained it was not mine or even close to my house, he got on Google and found a pic of the goal from two years prior. He then agreed that this goal was not mine.

2) My next-door neighbor built a storage shed without asking permission from the HOA. Any structure over the fence line requires permission. I get a letter informing me that I am in violation. There was even a small pic of the shed in the letter. I went outside and stood between my neighbor's house and my house and took a pic of the shed. I printed it out and drew a line where the property line is and drew arrows showing my property, the neighbors property and pointed out the shed which is very obviously not in my back yard. Never heard anything else from the HOA on this.
