Yeah, this list is suspect. Minnesota is a frozen hellhole full of raging leftists.

Minnesota has no excuse, but it is currently run by the most rabid group of leftists. They are about to ban all gas powered small equipment, for example.

And I still don't think you can get liquor at SLC airport. And the tap beer is all some Utah local shite that is like 2.5% alcohol or something. Might otherwise be a great place to live but who wants to live in a place where you can't get smashed at the airport on your layover?

LA is one of the most diverse states per capita in the country. To point out how poorly it ranked in factors such as education and crime, while not providing a measure with positive connotation to diverse demographics, is incredibly racist and ignorant.
