The English dialogue was really bad. I wonder if that’s how foreigners feel when American productions use other languages for a few brief scenes. 
Really enjoyed the show, though.
EDIT: To be clear, I watched this show in Korean with subtitles. By "English dialogue" I was referring to the VIP's in the final episodes.

Yeah, much better to leave it in Korean w/ english subtitles. The manurisms match the tone/timing of voice and give it so much more.

You have to use the regular audio and English subtitles. I was talking to a buddy of mine this morning about how the dubbed version sounds like Mystery Science 3000 making fun of the show. It's terrible.
It's a bit of a struggle with subtitles, as you have to try to read and also pay attention to what is happening onscreen. Even though I am used to subtitles these days, it isn't always easy. But it makes the show much better to avoid the dubbed audio.

Liked but not loved it.
Wish there had been more games and fewer scenes with the girl yelling in korean at everyone.
Didnt really know who to root for, if any. I guess main dude became more sympathetic the last few eps when you realized he might have been a little "slow".

Hoping Season 2 gets in depth in regards to a number of storylines.
1). Cops brother… he won the tournament, how did he become the host
2). Organ harvesting, seems odd they were doing it behind the scenes and wasn’t sanctioned by the group as in-depth as it was
3). How does one become a triangle, square, or circle

yeah they went out of their way to show it being removed from the surveillance video, but the front man knew about it all along.
Maybe scrubbing it so the VIPs who watch the video remotely don't see?

So keeping in one thread…
Finished Alice in Borderland and holy frick, what a train wreck the last 2 episodes were.
Attempting to throw in backstories at the most random time along with sloppy AF plot. Total disappointment IMO.
Of course I’ll prob watch another season to see where they go with it.

It’s better than Squid Game IMO. But both are very good.
The way I’d put it, SG has a more complete story with more fleshed out characters, but I liked the games and characters in AiB better and just enjoyed it better overall.
ETA: AiB is more “science fiction-y” for sure.

Good show, last episode was frustrating.
First of all the dudes the worst father of all time. He gives millions of dollars to a kid he doesn’t know but won’t even go to visit his own daughter….
I kept wondering if he was just going to give all his money away, so glad that didn’t happen I would be pissed.
Then he’s surprised to know they’re following him? Seems like that works be obvious, if you want to be done with these guys then go to America and start a new life.
I dk how a season 2 would work, he teams up with the clearly not dead cop to find these guys? He rejoins the game somehow? I wish the show would’ve ended on him flying to America to be with his daughter.

That was my only complaint about the show. She sounded like the old school Kung Fu movies. Way over the top though
