He wants that bastard punished and who could blame him?
While I agree, Griffin also hasn't gone scorched earth yet and has minced his words and said "we are looking at what we do with the property"
I wish he would have said "Basd off that and his hate for the hard working people that our companies promotes, we aren't going forward with the project and will be looking to exit NYC fully by 2028"

100%...
I'm hopefully Ken Griffin holds firm, packs up shop, and moves out of NYC, killing the 15k jobs he was slated to bring in.

I think he races F1 just to improve his sim results
I mean, he's made it pretty clear at this point. F1 is just a hobby masked as a day job. He doesn't do any SIM for it, all his sim is GT racing and he doesn't feel like he needs to accomplish anything else in F1.
Wants to regularly do endurance racing and isn't going to wait til his 40's to transition.
Mamdani Kissing Feet of CEO's Now

After realizing the money train is quickly pivoting away from NYC thanks to his insane line of thinking and outlandish comments
He subsequently followed it up with misconstruing the Reagan quote while announcing the 2nd city owned grocery store that will fail when it opens in a few years.
Sounds like Ken Griffin refuses to meet with the scumbag which has me wanting to move my finances over to Citadel.

PMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon and Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon on Monday became the latest big-name business leaders to meet with Mayor Zohran Mamdani as his administration continues an outreach blitz aimed at calming wary executives across the city’s business community.

Maybe he really believed the people would revolt and overtake their country. Kind of like a reverse Bay of Pigs.
Then he or his advisors really misunderstood the control that the national guard has on the country.
It really was an ill thought out action. Say what you want, but the tactical strikes last June were executed flawlessly. This, not even close.

I'd love to know what kind of outcomes we planned for.
Obviously didn't plan for Iran shutting down the straight and fricking global oil prices :dunno:
Just 2 weeks and you will see those prices plummet, 2 more weeks

fricking clown show. His threats don't work with suicidal maniacs running the country.
Trump let Israel, Military Complex, and RINOs convince him to start something they had no clear plan to end.

Dunno, but maybe we get a Mazespin return :dude:

Btw, what ever happened to him? When he was booted at the start of the Russia/Ukraine stuff, I guess he was blackballed by every racing league :dunno:

It’s not happenstance
I didn't say it was happenstance that Netflix has it, I said by happenstance that I saw it pop up on Netflix.
What in the actual frick?
If a safety car, why is it starting from there? Why the hell does he stop and not even attempt to back up? Drivers should beat the shite out of that guy for almost killing them.
Assuming that was the medical car going to the driver in the barrier we see at the end, but why did he enter the track before the safety car was out?

Don't give away the US races for "free" if you can get them to buy a subscription.
Well we shouldn't see anything free based off the SVP's comments in Miami about viewership being "way up" over 2025 numbers for the first 3 races.

Yeah, don't remember... Just remember it being discussed here.

You would think primetime US races would be likely. Canada, Mexico, US, Brazil....
You'd think, but I would have assumed they would have made Miami free on Apple TV in order to try to draw in people and then had offered some sort of promo for first time subs based off that.

They agreed to this before the season started. Miami was never an option to simulcast. Seems like it was Austin, Monaco, Canada.
Yet they haven’t announced any of it. Saw it claimed there were some free ones out there but never any details. Just by happenstance see it pop up on Netflix.

That’s maybe good news to you though huh?
May or may not watch, depends on what is going on.
Like Fightin said below, wonder if its a test against Miami GP to see if they can get more viewership by outsourcing.
ETA: One thing is clear, they wouldn't be doing this if the numbers were as good as their SVP claimed in Miami.

btw, saw that Netflix is going to carry the Canadian GP... Odd that Apple is going this route for Canada, but didn't for the Miami GP.

Speaking before the team's victory hopes were slashed, the 28-year-old confirmed his wish to make his participation in the Nurburgring 24 Hours a regular occurrence.
"The Nurburgring 24 Hours is one of the biggest races of the year, which is why we're here," said the four-time F1 champion.
"We're racing with a professional line-up, and having me on board is really exciting. This is something I want to do every year - whether with one or more cars - and our main goal is to win races."
Like I said above, going to be interesting which one Max chooses if quali/race interferes with F1 schedule next year.

Saw a snippet of Max's last run. When he took over, they were 8 seconds up, by the time he got done, they were up close to 40 seconds or something similar.
Dude can drive. I'm hoping he dips his toe in every form of racing at some points and is competitive. Will just help solidify him as one of, if not that best drivers ever.

Not sure, but looks like after Max ran his laps they came in, swapped drivers, and shortly after the car had issues on the track.
The question will be, what does this do for Max's future? Getting so close to winning, does this push him even more to transition over to this form of racing?
Also, where does the Nurumburg 27' race line up against the F1 calendar. If he is still in F1, does he skip to do this race again if there is a conflict?
I'd imagine he will want to do more of the 24hr stuff now. LeMans? Daytona?

Welp, the only thing that could stop Max was his car shitting the bed.
Dude was a beast throughout the race.
