New Orleans is shortlisted for the 2031 Rugby World Cup, but the Superdome as the venue. Rugby pitch dimensions are just as large as FIFA requirements. Not sure if they approved any variances. Rugby World Cup takes place in the fall. It would have to be a window where the Saints play an international game and there’s a 3 week window where they can put grass in the dome.
