It's utter garbage. I've tried a few times to watch, and can't make it through.

I understand why people don’t understand people liking Lost in Translation. You kind of have to live it to understand it. You have to have been a stranger in a strange land.

First time I saw it, I thought it was pretentious bull shite. The next time I saw it is when I was abroad in that situation, and very homesick after some of my friends returned to the States

It NAILED what it's like to spend a significant amount of time in Asian international hotels.

That shite pile of a movie, Inglorious Basterds.
What are you, a Nazi?

I'll add Mulholland Drive. Shitty symbolism is still shitty. I guess tits make it a great movie

Big Lebowski

The first time I watched it I thought it was terrible. The second time I thought it was pretty funny. Now I find it completely hilarious.

This was how I was with Napoleon Dynamite. Now if it's on, I stop and watch.

"The Martian." It's Matt Damon trying to grow potatoes for two hours.

As far as sports movies go, Pitch Perfect ranks near the bottom

Forrest Gump.

Bring the downvotes, it’s a stupid movie.

I think this is most people's experience with the film.

Possibly the best movie ever made.

Dunkirk

Beautifully shot but in so many ways it felt like it was stuck in between gears the whole film and never really engages. I felt no connection whatsoever to any of the characters or with what was going on, on screen.

I whole-heartedly agree with your take but I also haven't heard anybody ever claim it was a great movie, only good.

Pulp Fiction.

Not saying it's bad, but I just don't get why it is as loved as it is.

The Dark Knight. People talk about that movie like it’s the greatest thing they ever watched. Batman Begins was a better movie.
