Right on time, I am seeing a passing Rose-breasted Grosbeak. They rarely stay more than a few days. last year was the longest I have seen at 2 weeks.
Not at the feeder, but I have had a yellow warbler and several common yellowthroats along the bayou in the back yard. ...

If the rough is healthy, but short, I often prefer it. That is often the case at Oakwing and Links on the Bayou. The Fall can get dicey when the rough thins out letting the ball fall down to the ground. ...
