I have switched to all Shimano & Daiwa for freshwater and inshore unless its so good of a deal I wont mind tossing it when it breaks.

When doing my second planting, I noticed one of the varieties I bought for this year is parthenocarpic. I had no idea this was a thing until i got into persimmons earlier this Spring.

Had Calumet 8/10/15/16 last night. 8 was distinctively mediocre. All got better as age went up for me. A few people preferred 15. As much as I liked both 15/16, the price is just not there for me.
