26 year old singer. Reminds me of a cross between a young Megan Fox and a young Sofia Vergara.

This is now streaming on MAX.
Saw it last night- was decent and witty. Like others said, it was very much a Black Mirror episode.
Sophie Thatcher is going to be a big star down the road.

Dude has an incredibly punchable face.
How come the CGI looks worse than the last movie with SS in it from the earlier 2000s? The chick on the surfboard looks like a character from the Island of Misfit Toys from the Rudolph movie of the 60s.

in the books the mantle of the surfer was removed from one herald and granted to another - IE Norrin to her, and back - nothing to say that she either fails Galactus in his bid to consume earth, and has her powers stripped and bestowed to Norrin - in his bid to have Galactus spare his life.

you guys are quick to shite all over it with no inkling of where it goes.

We get it. Norrin Radd was the Surfer for 60 years, Shalla Bal was for 5 minutes. It still sucks. You're doing mental gymnastics to justify what was clearly a gender swap by Disney just to check the box.
Silver Surfer looks like garbage. I'm out.

International Assassins was voted one of the best episodes of TV this century. Brilliant writing and acting

I agree with him. It took me out of the series to a certain degree. I thoroughly enjoyed the series, but those two episodes were so over the top, it just seemed out of place.

Spoiers:

Just finished the series as well 2 weeks ago. I agree that season 2 was probably the best. And I know that we were told up front that we wouldn't find a reason for the departing. But it wouldn't be a LOST writer without a frickton of red herrings:

Holy Wayne's babies that are "the key"
The reason the manholes blew up on the day of the departing
The significance of the women riding by to pick up Kevin on the day of the departing
The chick mumbling about "spiders underwater" which tied into that issue of National Geographic- again, all lead to a big fat nothing.
Not to hijack, but I haven't pulled the trigger on Yellowjackets Season 3- I don't want another streaming service I have to remember to cancel. But- do they come close to explaining the symbol? That's really the only reason I've been invested in it.
IMO, Meg was a much more evil character. But, she made up for it with that landing strip shot. :pimp:
I felt a little badly for her after hearing her backstory with the ex husband. But yeah, initially hated her.
I'd bet the farm that he had friction with Parker Posey. Everything I've seen her in outside of a role she plays leads me to think she is a huge C in real life.

Preferred knife set for the OT...

Was considering an upper end Zwilling versus Wusthof, but the Shun knives are gorgeous. Feedback appreciated.

White is known to be outspoken when it comes to his critics. He appeared on the official “White Lotus” podcast after the Season 3 finale aired and told off viewers who complained the new episodes were too slow and boring.

“I’m world-building,” White said. “If you don’t want to go to bed with me then get out of my bed. I’m edging you! Enjoy the edging. If you don’t want to be edged, then get out of my bed. Do you know what I mean? Don’t be a bossy bottom. Get the frick out of my bed. Don’t come home with me. Don’t get naked in my bed. Get the frick out of my bed. Obviously something is going to happen.”

White noted on “The Howard Stern Show” that he is “renegotiating” his contract right now ahead of Season 4.

Wow. What an awesome, stable individual. You guys enjoy his next outing. I think that's it for me.

Nice dickride, you homo
I digested the final- which I enjoyed. About 55 minutes overall I was concerned, but the last 5 made up for it. I did my usual and looked online for different takes, which is what I did after every episode of LOST. Anyway, people were saying that Nora possibly made up the whole "went over" story. That shocked me, because never did I even consider she might be. I mean, I know they didn't show her journey. But I was mind blown considering the other people were just on Earth when 98% of the population vanished, and they continued on just like our survivors did. Anyway, I just wondered what the general consensus was. I like to think the story was true- I have no idea why she would make it up at that point in time.

I’m the dummy. But you think the ludicrous thing we see in episode 3-and the ultimate reason for this we’re given-is good writing? Not to mention the reward party we see, and the implications needed for that?
Some of y’all would eat a shite sandwich and sing its praises if some art house cinephile recommended it. The emperor has no clothes.
