Phil Collins (not already in??)
For what? One song (In the Air Tonight) off a mediocre album? The rest of his solo work is shite, and he is already in with Genesis.

At what point do artists start telling the HOF they don't want their image tarnished by inclusion?

Popular bands or artists
That is a wide net. I would say the entire Billboard top 100 with the only exclusions being: sombr (a bit emo but talented song writer) and Tame Impala. Billboard Hot 100. Popular music is pretty bad right now. I would also throw in Green Day, Chris Stapleton, Mumford and Sons, Coldplay (first two albums not terrible though) and Dave Mathews Band.

So Thursday is Maiden, Megadeath, Alice Cooper, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Pantera, and Danzig!?! That is the old folks night and really impressive. I can't image what your hearing would be when Maiden finally gets on stage.

Like him but seems like a one hit wonder about now. The songs that are not Seventeen Going Under sound like Seventeen Going Under. Good Geordie Boy from the North.

It was a really good show. I watched every week. Christin Milioti was excellent and an absolute smoke show:

It's not getting any deeper next year.
I disagree. While not as good as some years, it will be much better than '26, which sucks. Next year you have Julian Sayin OSU, Dante Moore UO, Arch Manning Tex, Lanorris Sellers USC, and Trinidad. NFL Draft Buzz. I think teams wait to get their next qb and those five go in the first round.

LOL at the Tennessee qb losing his injunction against the NCAA. Amateurs.

Honestly, what the frick is the NCAA doing at this point? I’m happy, but what the frick
Sounds like they are carrying the NFL's water at this point. The NFL has to be concerned when players like the Oregon qb decide to return to college because of the money. Players entering the draft are a lot older now. It is upsetting their minor league system. Trinidad needed to go to the NFL, but they won't care about an undrafted FA.

The message. DIS stock down 42.28% the last five years. Meanwhile, S&P 500 up 75.% the same period.

Even when I was a kid I disliked the kids in most shows. They always make the kids to be shitheads.
I've wondered about that too. Do they write the kids as a-holes because the writers and their children are actually like that, or does that make them more interesting and easier to write about? They originally wrote Opie that way and then Ron Howard's real father talked to Andy Griffith: Entertainment Weekly.

Brian Eno was receding even before Roxy Music. He went long hair & combover (and eventually, beret).
and eventually shaved his head. I don't remember him with a comb over. What he had was a balding top w/ really long hair on the sides and back as can be seen in your photo. This Rocky Horror extra look actually suited him and his very weird music. He was clean shaven when Before and After Science came out in '77.
One of my favorite artists of all time.
