Trump's will be a nice counterpoint to the constant media bias.
Good for him. Much better than that money being spent on riots and vote harvesting.
Highwater Festival April 18: Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket
Music Farm Charleston May 5: Ty Segall
Tabernacle Atlanta May 30: Echo and the Bunnymen

Does Jerry Rafferty count? How about Al Stewart's Year of the Cat? Those would get my vote.
Well, I need to catch up on HBO shows and movies because it looks like I will be dropping it sometime in 2026.
Because the early 80s had a very distinct feel that we contribute to the entire decade. The end of the 80s was really the beginning of the 90s in terms of cohesiveness. 1988 for instance had Public Enemy It Takes a Nation..., Pixies Surfer Rosa, Sonic Youth Daydream Nation. The early 80s had Michael Jackson, Madonna, Duran Duran, Go-Gos and the swan songs of the 70s bands like Yes, The Clash, Toto, Rush etc. Clothing fashion was the same way; early 80s was vans, parachute pants, those skinny leather ties, etc. Also, early 80s was fantastic time to be alive but we didn't realize it at the time.
Compound exercises for overall growth. Deadlift, squat, bench press, pull up. You already do the pushup and pullups. Add the squats and deadlifts for overall strength, increase in muscle building hormones and kickstarting your central nervous system.

Alabama Shakes and Lake Street Dive are at Highwater Fest right before that so it makes sense.

Also saw Kurt Vile in New Haven and it was awesome as well.

Saw him at Variety Playhouse in 2024. Great show and great smaller venue.
Girl boss subverts expectations. I think the women are sick of this crap and all but the low t men are too. The Supergirl from The Flash was somewhat interesting.

Watching Superman right now an shutting it off. It sucks.

Not really, but I would love for these to be a thing.

Waxahatchee
Arcade Fire
Modest Mouse

First two at a festival. Next year i have Alabama Shakes, My Morning Jacket, and Echo and the Bunnymen tickets with the first two being a festival and EATB being The Tabernacle in Atl. Really plan to drive to Charleston for Ty Segall too.

I find the topic interesting because we always hear how box office flops are not really flops because streaming (from both the studios and the defenders of the studios on this board). Here we have a movie that is a flop in every sense of the word but one that certainly doesn't deserve to be below something like The Marvels. I would watch another F4 movie in this universe, maybe even in a theater this time.

Shocks me this guy was a leading man for a good 25 years with directors willing to play camera tricks with his height:

He also wasn't a Navy fighter pilot in Top Gun. Crazy they lied to us like that.

Been doing it to people on home loans for decades.

If you are smart, a home will appreciate. That truck will 100% depreciate. Also, buying either at 10% interest rate is dumb.

Not very splashy but makes sense.
Makes sense why all those comedians went over there recently.
