That's good to know. When I first heard this announced I figured it was an original script and be some trash like Gladiator 2. Actually excited for this now. I like the cast so far.

I was very skeptical when I first heard about the movie on this board but posters noted the story is by Michael Mann and Edgar Award winner Meg Gardiner so I'm in unitl I find out Neil McCauley is played by Elliot Page.

Not a fan of that town or campus. And how do you not have any good restaurants downtown (well, maybe a steakhouse)? Guy Fiere's? LOL
I didn’t like or care for the characters or what would happen to them and quit watching about 1/2 hour in.

Truman Sinclair's latest. He is pretty good. Like his album and EPs.
I am sick of the superhero genre in general and the multiverse in particular but that script could be interesting. I enjoyed the fight scene in Civil War at the airport and the FF universe in general.
RIP. What a great character. It was so funny when that dude was trying to get the other side to just trust him...just walk away.

I mentioned Courtney Barnett's Creature of Habit but I'm changing it to Wes Parker's Super Rare. Great album start to finish despite the strange interludes between songs.

1950s: Elvis Presley (1956)
1960s: Revolver (1966)
1970s: Dark Side of the Moon (1973)
1980s: Purple Rain (1984)
1990s: Nevermind (1991)
2000s: Is This It (2001)
2010s: Modern Vampires of the City (2013)
2020s: Creature of Habit (2026)...its my favorite album of 2026 so why not.

I refuse to pick albums i don't like.
Interesting. Just read a very good GQarticle about his favorite books and he lists GI Joe as one. Looks like that may be a pay article but you can view it in apple news if you have an iphone. The books were The Lords of Discipline (awesome), Hollywood Godfather, The Dark Tower (awesome) Pop. 1280 (awesome), The Dying Earth, Blood Meridian (awesome), and the GI Joe Comics. Since I love several of his favorites, I am going to give Hollywood Godfather a read and maybe even the fantasy series Dying Earth. Also, they should make every Jim Thompson book into a movie.

He was good in the first Rocky and Copland. Was Steven Seagall an A lister at one time?
South Carolina government buildings must be set at 68 or below. Many of the small percentage of state government workers who aren't morbidly obese actually run heaters in their office in the summer. Your tax dollars making the obese comfortable until your tax dollars pay for their exaggerated health care costs.

black Helen of Troy

I don’t have an issue with her being black. I do have an issue with her being extremely unattractive. So much so that it feels like trolling

Funny joke I read on X recently: "Who knew Helen of Troy could cause so much conflict."

Hilarious but I like the new song.
Lemmy was in a hippy band called Hawkwind and wrote a song for them called Motörhead which was done by his next band without the saxophone lol;
Kurt Vile was in The War On Drugs;
Ron Wood: Jeff Beck Group, Faces and then the Stones.

Nice. Hope I get to catch their tour again.

But this is a milquetoast DC property. It was never going to do crazy money. No one asked for it. The last Supergirl movie bombed miserably in the 80s. Add the woke BS and alienating your core audience, and this is what you get. It could be a case study in what NOT to do.

Agree. While I don't care for Superman or Supergirl, i actually liked the version and limited story we got from The Flash. They should have expounded on that plot line.
Great actor. Valley Girl, Wild At Heart, Moonstruck, Leaving Las Vegas, Adaptation, Matchstick Men, Lord of War. Not many actors are that good in that many great movies.
