I always dug seeing all those different helmets on the field at once; it was like staring down into a lunch box filled with the little plastic helmets I used to get for a quarter a piece out of the machines at the grocery store.

What was really neat was seeing the terribly mismatched colors, like the Eagles' green helmets paired with the blue NFC jerseys or the Bengals' orange helmet matched with a red AFC jersey. A feast for the eyes...
Imagine having the wealth that comes with owning an NFL franchise and still resorting to paying for pussy...
I’ve only eaten horse once, because at the time I was SO hungry…
To this day, if I find myself bored on a Saturday evening, I recall the euphoria of watching this theme, sitting in front of a wooden Magnavox on shag carpet at my maw maw’s house.
I don’t recall the network, but I’ve watched MLB games this season where they aired ads between batters.

NASCAR runs ads over the top of the final laps of stages, now.

It’s all too much; I’ve tuned out.
Ha ha ha! As a big Metallica fan, I immediately thought of Lars and Justice while reading the OP. Who know Ulrich was such a visionary?!
A woman who works in my office has begun to put her vocal fry into her emails.

“Heeyyyyy…”

That’s just too much.
The live action version of Disney's "The Lion King," in a theater with my wife and two daughters. My 7-year-old had us walk-out on this one, it was so bad.

It's like they fed peanut butter to the big cats and just rolled the cameras. They used real animals, the only problem being that real animals can't emote. Beyond horrible.
Is McAfee gaining on/has surpassed Joe Rogan as the male Oprah?

The entire broadcast had formatting and technical issues; it was a mess. Looked like preseason for the production crew, too. And too much time was spent gushing over Gayle Benson.

Shades of The Wizard of Oz.
Right on. I come here when I want to hear other opinions on sports from guys like you and me.

Honestly, in this age of internet message forums, I struggle to understand how any of these hacks can make a living writing about sports.

The profession feels entirely unnecessary now.
That’s some Batman level shite, right there.
If WWE Monday Night Raw counts, that’s certainly the winner for me, since January 1993.

“…I’ve got plans for those millions, and it ain’t for frickin’ sandwiches.”

-Jason Newsted, former Metallica bassist, when asked why a musician who makes millions of dollars would bag sandwiches from catering to eat in his hotel room, later.
Kinda, sorta. I never feel terribly comfortable because I'm always waiting for the other shoe to drop, wondering what will go wrong next.

I wish I didn't think this way; it brings me great anxiety.

These guys either get tons of pussy or are all complete f*gs; I can’t decide which.
