What? I’m replying to someone stating that Batman Begins “is a better film” than The Dark Knight.

- no, it isn’t.

you mind giving some reasons for this?

not why you don't like it, but why you don't understand it's popularity

Napoleon Dynamite

Yep total garbage. At least it's not considered a classic so it had it's moment and it's basically disappeared from tv and isn't getting pushed by streamers.

Lifetime having a 50 Shades of Grey marathon every weekend is pretty funny since none of them break 2 and half stars on the guide.

this had an incredible online publicity campaign on various internet message boards. I presume this was the pre-bot era, so it was actual human beings posting "I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I just saw this great movie called Napoleon Dynamite, and you should check it out!"

8 1/2. Widely viewed by critics as one of the greatest movies of all time. The movie is complete trash and just an hour and a half of stupidity.

Agree with you here. I usually like these kind of films but I find this one to be a big, fat mess.

I didn't think Talladega Nights was funny at all. Only saw it once in the theater, never tried it again.

This is a common answer in these type threads. But a comedy should never be submitted. Everyone has a different sense of humor. How can you not “understand” that?

I'll say Titanic.

Also what fricking dog shite answers yall are giving. Seriously the only good answers I saw were Avatar, Fast and Furious movies, Life Aquatic, and the English Patient.

Yall don't understand why Shawshank, the Godfather, Pulp Fiction, Silence of the Lambs, etc. is so popular? The frick is wrong with yall?

You don't understand why this was popular??

Cameron showed his absolute genius, casting a young heartthrob instead some 50 yr old leading man. Teenage girls went back and back and back to see it.

I get the hype, but I'm not a fan of the Coen movies that end with little or no resolution (NCfOM and A Serious Man). Some of their other films are my all time favorites movies.

No Country absolutely ended with resolution
