They win the conference and make the playoffs…

So she didn’t die and 2 football players weren’t involved?
No player involved played another down for UGA.
ETA: that also doesn’t have anything to do with this case, whatsoever. I know you’re pro NIL and all that, but I’m confused why you would stake out a position in favor of this idiot.

You can’t make up the hypocrisy. Schools have been letting in illiterates and degenerate players for decades but now it’s time to boycott? Are you kidding me. A UGA player killed a student in a street racing incident and he still played and got drafted and no one mentioned anything about boycotting them. So hypocritical.
Playing thugs and players gambling on games, especially games they play in are two different things.
The former is shitty coaches playing shitty people, the later legitimately threatens the integrity of the sport.
I'm just pointing out that it's not apples and oranges.

Are these judges elected. If they are, think about who votes for them

The conferences are going to have to actually back the ineligible ruling and say that their banned from conference play and will forfeit any conference game that the player participates. Non-conference games would have to stand. Then the CFP committee needs to make a statement by honoring the record to include forfeitures.
OK, so what happens when Sorsby sues the Big 12 to force his eligibility? The only real recourse is other schools refusing to play Tech.

I’m not sure about that. He’s sometimes out here tying out 5 paragraphs no one is reading. He definitely thinks very highly of himself

Schools will be much less inclined to piss off the entities that are actually paying them money.
The NCAA doesn’t do anything for them. The conference is paying them tens of millions each year in revenue share.
ETA: Sorsby can sue everyone he wants, but if the schools tell him sorry, but no thanks, he’s shite out of luck.

You guys do realize that all this outrage will be over in a few days and everyone will be outraged about the next thing. This is our society today and you guys are playing right into it. My personal belief is that Sorsby will never play a down but I also am laughing at all of you freaking out over it. No one is going to boycott playing TT. Too much money involved.
And the pearl clutching over this is just hilarious coming from fanbases who have been buying players and turning each other in is just funny. Texas Tech just has the nerve to do what SMU did and the SEC has been doing for decades - finding the best players to help them win. Oh, but it’s different this time because the dude gambled instead of beating his girlfriend or cheating in tests or stealing crab legs.

Can we please stop acting like judges are anything but political hacks? I know 3 judges personally, 2 were law school classmates and one a coworker. 1 of the 3 is worth a shite.
