I would think most coaches still have kids in Oxford schools and homes in Oxford. They need to get those on the market and physically start the moving process.
Hopefully there have been some buy out negotiations that reduce exposure to our coaches and LSU.

They need to schedule 3-5 teams with a pulse. Look at next year’s schedule and agree the should be double digit favorites in 10 of them.

Watched most of Tech’s games. They are for real. Long, tall and fast. Think of a Kiffin offense with a fast defense.
Have LSU season tickets for 40+ years and have seen a lot of SEC football.
Sent a son to Tech and my money so consider them my 2nd favorite.

As I have said: OM should have had CLK agree not to poach players or coaches until after season. And receive bonuses… and even negotiated other non-compete details. The OM AD was way over his head.

That is the issue, 20 people… Had Saben gone directly to Bama back in the day, there would have been 10k people tailgating for 8 hours before. And another 10k arriving…and 5k would have left early to beat the traffic. But more than 30k middle fingers.

75% of those kids care about money and NFL. That most of those ‘kids’ are trying to get momma a new house and car. They didn’t grow up cheering for a college team and aren’t emotionally attached at winning as most of us. Give them $200k or playing in a playoff… bet most take the $200k.

Lane agrees not to take coaches or players until after season. Will coach playoffs and then to LSU. He will build a shadow staff at LSU starting today and will meet with them daily on recruiting and portal topics. Lane will have to agree not to discuss LSU publicly or to his current staff/players until after season.

Doesn’t prevent the employees from contacting you.
Lane just can’t active (especially in writing) recruit current Ole Miss players until after season. And in doing so… Oke Miss allows him to have co-employment with LSU for next ~6 weeks. And they negotiate any terms of buy-out.

Lane should propose: non-compete for players and coaches until after Ole Miss season is over. He coaches to the end and receives what is in his contract. And allow him to setup a shadow organization at LSU to begin recruit (portal and HS). He should negotiate 8hrs per week of LSU time the week of Ole Miss games. If Ole Miss isn’t playing that week, 24 hours.
