LOL! Are you really comparing what NIL has become to pro sports "sponsorship" deals?

Not remotely close.

You make them employees by hiring them

It's still not gonna make NIL go away

As far as title IX, it needs to go the frick away

Pipe dream...never gonna happen.

Some of the angriest, most unstable people I've ever encountered are chefs and if you add the overweight, lesbian equation in to the mix it gets far worse.

Not making the players employees

How do you "make" players employees with NIL being completely legal?

And you can't just have CFB and MBB "employees"
You'll have to pay men and women's sports the same because of Title IX.Not feasible

also the medical industry, Cancer is a trillion dollar money maker for them

Are you including insurance companies?

You really think they llike it when customers are diagnosed and they have to shell out millions for treatment?

Still can’t believe we couldn’t strike some sort of deal at least partial deal with CBS

Screw 'em.

They low balled us for years and refused to renegotiate after expansion (ESPN did) and then went
all in the BIG contract.Pretty much blew up in their face with abysmal BIG ratings and SEC crushing it

You are right about their production though. Its the best in college sports.

It was a nice change and they were also a tribute to the 40th anniversary of the 1980 team.

What croc of garbage and it's amazing that this bull shite narrative get regurgitated.

Tell me what you know about Mossadegh and don't give me the Wiki version.

Nah

It's been predominantly Muslim for a long, long time.
Just wait what happens during 2028 Olympics

Yes,the jock tax will hit Olympians in L.A.

Gonna get some bad "exposure" from the rest of the world.
It's not like they've been murdering, kidnapping and bombing Americans for the last 50 years.

Braves are basically copying what the Cubs and Rangers are doing, whatever that means exactly.

Braves operating income was $732 million

About $100 million was from their RSN deal last year and I'm pretty sure they won't get the same amount with Braves Vision this year but they'll cash in '27 IF they actually have a MLB season.

quote:

have no clue if that’s accurate or not

Nobody does and it's idiotic to throw out speculative numbers on nothing but hearsay

looks like they are negotiating with cable and streaming companies, but will also be offering a no-blackout package through MLB.tv as well.

Any revenue guesses at this point?

still way behind the Dodgers, Yankees, Red Sox, Mets, Phillies in revenue

Braves 3rd qtr revenue close to $670 million

And I imagine well over $700 at the close of the fiscal year.Probably not Dodgers or Yankess numbers but can more than handle their own against the Mets and Phillies revenue even with the unknown of the TV deal.
They were a powerhouse in the East German days and that was in just about all the sledding events.

Maybe some of the old infrastructure is still in place.
I believe he flunked out...not a big surprise.
